Players on a free

Seen a link to this site from the Beeb about the number of players available on a free at the minute.

Now many of them will be on there for a reason

and many of them will be looking for a big wage, but some decent options there. We could maybe be in a position to offer them incentives like a big signing on fee (as we arent paying a transfer fee), bonus fees, payments dependant on appearances etc and a lesser wage

Shame theres not many decent keepers on it mind

But there are a few lads like Hitzilsperger (sp) and Upson from West Ham. Now they'd probably want a fair wage - more than we can give -but if they are struggling to get a deal we could maybe get them in and offer a platform (maybe european football too if we dont **** up the play offs)

Big John Carew is on there. Now he's only 31 and not world class - but as a big target man would offer more than Daryl Murphy IMO

I'm sure upson will have had offers so must be the wage Carew the same and he's got fitness problems

 

I may well get laughed at here but what about Marcus Bent, he's on the list?

 

Saw this the other day & been meaning to have a look.

That Thomas Cruise from Arsenal is on there as a leftback/centre back,was he not tipped to have a good future?

 

Thank God Carew has been signed by West Ham.
He is useless whether he was 21 or 31 .
