HDM has an interview with Koren's agent who says the players have not been told anything. He says that the "major" players expect to be told what's going on. I don't suppose they can say much more than has been said in public about what has happened but they could give them some insight into their future plans. It would at least show the senior players some respect.
I'm guessing some people will think Koren and his agent are lying too and the Allams are still the only ones to trust...
Course it could be that the ball is in Barmby's court and Allams don't want to say anything until NB has made a decision? Or in your world are the Allams always wrong?
HDM: Is there any concern that the current uncertainty could destabilise some of the key players? EA: We have tried to reassure the coaching staff and the team that the club is not for sale, as has been suggested, we are still fully committed, and we are looking to strengthen, not weaken, the team. Evidently not in the past few days...
They've sacked the poor bastard how is the ball in his court? Christ, people are just making stuff up to allow them to stay on the Allams side. He hasn't been offered some other lower role or any of that crap he has been suspended in the same way Bullard was so they can sack him.
Think you are getting as frustrated as me. Everyone just read the article again and analyse it, here are a couple of pointers. I have not got the paper in front of me so will have to go from memory but you will get the gist of it. when asked who would be identifying and bringing in players now the Allams said they had lots of people in place - SO WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE WHY NOT JUST NAME THEM I keep going back to the Billy Sharp name, for heavens sake Assem said "it was a name I kept hearing" how bloody comical is that, he is clueless, just pick a name out of the air and throw it into the interview. Worse still they will be negotiating contracts with the players - after the way they have handled things so far, come on even the pro Allams must be a bit worried about this. Remember they did not get to where they are with all their money by being Mr Nice Guys all reasonable and fair. (rant over)
Let's try and deal with simple FACTS shall we? He has been SUSPENDED not SACKED SUSPENDED means he still has a job SACKED means he has no job. When are you going to come off your high horse and deal with reality, instead of rumours?
Or is this simply an agent trying to line his pockets by manufacturing a transfer through creating interest in his player/
So that means he has comitted a sackable offence and it must be more serious than saying something in the press.
Why do they need to know ? Officially nothing has changed.......Yet. They should just go away and forget about it. imo.
I'm with ISTPLT and JulesKaren on this. Some opinions seem to have been changed by one interview. There could well be fault on both sides, but Allam said in the interview what you would expect him to say, until all parties can tell their side of the story people are perfectly justified to remain sceptical about the Allams.
Personally Im looking forwards to either: 1. Well its like a sacking. or 2. Something happened at the last minute to change their minds but he was deffo going to be sacked. Honest.
The Allam's think it's a sack-able offence. Nick doesn't. I'm with Nick(for anyone who hadn't already realised).
I'm not in any way anti Allams - they saved the club and I believe they are in for the long haul. However, Ehab says in the interview 'we have tried' NOT we have informed. These are weasel words. You have either told the players or you haven't: which is it? It can't be that difficult to get them together, txt them, ring them, snail mail them, email them...
I don't know when the players actually knock off for the season, but Mclean's been tweeting about being at training this morning and has uploaded pictures of Hobbs. Who looks very well, for anyone who's interested. http://lockerz.com/s/206067750
In that case OLM they didn't or haven't tried very hard then! Or of course RK is lying via his agent...why would he do that! It must have been a weird atmosphere at training...
I think it was fair comment by the agent. Most players outside the Premier League don't have long to go on their contracts and I think agents don't need to do business via the media.
