With the exception of Michael Owen, they are good young players who I would like to see come in the summer. They would certainly improve the depth of the squad. However, we need to buy players who slot straight into the first team and that requires experienced players.
This..plus hopefully Soldado though, we need a top drawer striker to either start week in, week out alongside Suarez, or to compete with Andy (if he continues to improve).
Soldado would be a major signing if we got him, but I have a feeling that we're more interested in Luke De Jong. We definately need some good signings to keep the current crop of stars happy i.e. Reina, Agger, Suarez, Lucas - we need to show them that we are ambitious, and a signing like Soldado and Ramirez would definately help.
i Know we can't attract the "top players" but i think you're taking the piss, James Tomkins? Moses? Owen? that's ****ing embarrassing if we think that is the best we can get.
the one player i would like to see come in is leandro damiao, this kid has got some serious talent and would in my opinion fit in well with the team. hope we get him.
------------Reina------------ Johnson-Skrtel-Agger-Enrique- -----------Lucas------------- -----Gerrard----Ramirez------ --Suarez-----------Belhanda- -----------Carroll------------ Subs: Doni Kelly/Carragher/Flanagan/Robinson Coates/Wilson/Wisdom Elm/Shelvey/Suso Henderson/Adam/Spearing Hoillet/Downing/Sterling De Jong/Bellamy Maybe sign a defensive mid cover to.
Jovetic (Fiorentina are almost a sinking ship right now). He would be incredible at Liverpool. Pairing up with Suarez, his finishing is amazing and he is still very young. I'd love to see someone like Hamsik, an offensive minded passer but this isn't FM and he may want CL.
I think you need to be a bit more realistic with your signings. Maybe take a look at what Blackburn and Wolves are offloading before trying to compete for the big boys.
Fiorentina, Lazio, Roma, Villareal, Sevilla, Valencia, some names to throw around that are not where they want to be and we could get players on a bit cheap. I am sure I am missing some in Germany ( Werder Bremen, Stuttgart, etc) that have good players that are class but might want out.
i presume your a newcastle supporter, so i will start by saying last season you were playing in the championship, your club is so poor they had to rename their own stadium after a chav retail store to make money, your lucky we gave you 35mill otherwise you would now be playing in the championship. liverpool is still englands most decorated club 18 league titles, 5 european cups , 8 league cups, 7 fa cups, 3 uefa cups, 3 uefa super cups, and trust me we can still attract class players. now p**s off to your own board you batter eating wum
We were in the Premiership last season you numpty! At least pretend to have some football knowledge if you are going to throw you weight around. Makes a change... A liverpool fan banging on about past glories! well blow me down with a feather! The name is taken from the BILLIONAIRE that owns the club, Mike Ashley owns Sportsdirect. When you finally get around to building a new stadium to match ours I will put a £100 bet here and now with you that your new ground isnt called Anfield.
bookmark this so you can refer to it when you pay up your debt boy! By the way... #1 #2 #3 #5 #6 Nearly the full set all in one post!
Who are these class players you are banging on about then?? Last season you 'attracted' Jorden Henderson, Stuart Downing, Charlie Adam and A Racist striker? PMSL! A massively overrated midfielder, the worst winger ever to play in the top division, the best player from a relegated team and horrible man from south america... hmmmmm Are you Kenny Dalglish in disguise?? lol Newcastle on the other hand only managed to 'attract' Papiss Cisse, Davide Santon, Demba Ba and Yohan Cabeye....
