My own choice of players (keeping real!)

    a) Paddy McCourt (Celtic) - Great player, full of tricks and can run at and beat players. Good at crossing the ball, passing the ball, tackling back and scoring. Not so great at running (looks knackered at times), but would be brilliant in the Championship. Left footed player with bags of tricks, a better player than Snoddy, so would give good competition.

    b) Lee Wallace (Hearts) - Brilliant left back and would be an asset to any team. Rangers look close to signing him, but if we got in there quickly, I reckon he would come to Leeds.

    c) Richard Dunne (Villa) - Getting old and at times looks out of his depth at Villa, but I think he would do a sound job at Leeds and in the Championship. Solid player, with bags of experience.

    d) Craig Gordon (Sunderland) on loan - Excellent keeper and would love to have him on a permanent. Knowing the wages would be an issue, have gone for the season long loan.

    e) Julian Speroni (Palace) - Always liked this goalie, played a blinder against us in December 2010, so would be delighted to see us sign him. If we can't get Gordon that is.

    f) Neil Danns (Palace) - Another cracking midfield player, who would do us a job. Would give the others major competition for places and improve the consistency.

    g) Shaun Derry (Palace) - What a fighter and we should never have got rid of him. Just the type of player we need in midfield. Make him club captain again and we have a winner.

    h) David Goodwille (Dundee United) - The next big thing and will be a cracking player for who ever he plays for. Reminds me of Duncan Ferguson, but with more technical skill. Has some personal issues he needs to go through, but a move away from Scotland may be the best thing for him.

Lee Wallace is overrated - Rangers were only willing to offer £300k for him. No way is Paddy McCourt better than Snoddy, McCourt is Gradel without the finishing ability. Agree with the rest apart from I'd rather not get a rapist striker in when we have no problem scoring as it is.

I'd like (going from players we've already been linked with):

    Smithies
    Lichaj
    Cork
    Frings
    Evatt
    M. Johnson
    + a left back
