I know it's unlikely to happen, but just for argument's sake say we had a chairman who invested in quality players, are there any from the 3 relegated sides that you would like to see us sign? I presume that there will be a massive FOR SALE sign going up outside the Reebok and the flogging of the likes of Zat Knight, Nigel Reo-Coker, Kevin Davies and Chris Eagles. From Blackburn I'd happily take Martin Olssen or Gael Givet (I'm guessing that even an ambitious chairman wouldn't be able to afford to bring Robbo back to Elland Road). Wolves have a lot of dross but Stephen Fletcher or Stephen Hunt would be good buys for us.
I'd like Robinson, Knight, Jarvis, O'Hara, Chris Eagles and Kevin Davies All of those would fit into our team and are in positions we need/want to strengthen as well. Although I reckon all of those except Davies will stay in the PL anyway
If there are fees required, we won't sign them. If anything but poor wages are required, we won't sign them. Bottom line - we won't sign them. And there speaks an optimist!
Ryan Lowe at Blackburn would be good. Givet can play but will probably end up in Prem or abroad. Fletcher will go to Prem. We may have a shot at signing their younger talent, but let's see, maybe they loan out those they can't sell.
