The Sunday Times: "Steve Bruce says the Hull City squad are in doubt as to who is in charge at the KC Stadium." What do they mean by this? Nothing happening in the dressing room is there? Or are they referring to the board?
Sunday Times has a paywall so can't read the article for context. Maybe the word 'no' was missed out and the players are 'in no doubt who is in charge' Don't know why players would give a toss who is in charge at board level.
I think it would be with regards to the board. Nick Thompson leaving and talk of Duffen perhaps coming back, God forbid.
I considered that, but either way it seems a strange thing to report on when we've not heard a thing locally? Unless, as merch says, it's with regards to the board.

Good article although hardly revelatory. In the wake of SAF's autobiog, the journo quizzed SB about it and hence the whos' in charge angle. Selective quoting here. He says he gets most of that type of stuff online and only goes to Gwenap if it's needed that night. He did say that about the name change ****s though.
