Bristol the great city
Anybody notice when Brett scored his goal, nobody really showed any joy with him.
It seemed ages before the first player Bikey came up to him.

Seems to me all is not well on the pitch amongst our passionate and hard working players.
Seems to me either the dressing room is lost,or the players ain't interested in our fight for survival.

what about brett's arrogant celebration? we're in a relegation battle here.. grab that ****ing ball out the goal place it on the centre spot.. no need for an eric cantona like celebration

In fairness, I think he was making a point about not being selected. We look much better with 2 strikers up front WHOEVER they are. You can tell who wants us to stay up though, they were the one's who went to appreciate his goal...

Keep the few we have with quality, the rest need to pack their bags and go, we need a united team all playing for each other...

well i thought someone grabbed ball and hurried back to centre has to bloody score when drinking my tea didn't we

I think you will find he was making a statement to our brilliant inexperienced manager,he went towards him, looking at him, then realised I better not do that.
Brett Pitman will score goals where ever he plays.he reminds me of tony Thorpe.goalscorer.

Last time Pitman started he was absolutely shocking and behaved like a spoilt child and deserved to be dropped...

But don't let that get in the way of your Mcinnes witch hunt..

The most natural goalscorer at the club on the bench, suicidal.

The one player that can score a magical goal from anywhere, suicidal.

Sorry the guy has to play if he has any ambition of keeping city in the championship.

then why cant he perform when he starts? seems most of his goals have come from a sub appearance

but i agree, there must be 2 strikers at home

I thought Pitman linked play well against Watford, he just didn't track back. When NM was poncing around bottling challenges all over the place and being generally rubbish he was never dropped so Pitman can justifyably be wound up at being in and out of the side regularly. Pitman can score goals from starts, he did it last year. I see it as a choice between him and Albert as we can't carry two weak defensive players. On Current form Albert has to be dropped.

Pitman has no pace and can't play a whole 90 mins

Pace doesn't matter, if we could create chances he'll score. Ricky Lambert is the top scorer in the league and he's hardly a sprinter is he, I know he's scored a fair few penalties etc but just using him as an example. Danny Haynes and Ivan Sproule had pace, should we get them back?
