If it is accurate this shows the individual value of our players. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bristol-city/startseite/verein/698/saison_id/2014 Agard - £440k Freeman - £264k Bryan - £220k Little - £440k Smith - £660 Some values are less than I thought..
Well that sites a load of ****e! As of the end of the season our teams valuations (to us) will be around, just my opinion of course... Fielding 500-800k Little 700-900k Ayling 1-2 mil Flint 1-2.5 mil Williams 1-2mil Bryan 1-2mil Freeman 1.5-3mil K Smith 1-2.5mil Pack 400-600k JET 1-2mil Agard 800k-1.5mil Wilbraham up to 100k Cunningham 500-900k Osborne 300-700k El-Abd up to 100k Wagstaff 100-300k Reid 100-300k Burns 100-300k Richards up to 100k Elliott 0
I've seen it all now. Somebody wanting El Abd and Wagstaff AND pay money for them. Can't ever see it. Both will be gone on 'frees'. Paulton might put in 7 days.
so Agard has a 1/2 goal scoring record this season, and has halved his value, and Freeman - possibly the best player in league 1 this season - has lost 2/3rds of his value. What a load of ****e that site is. and they seem to have forgotten that Andrews chap who the papers reckon has won us promotion single-handedly. He must be worth a million
A player has 3 values what we think he is worth, what the buyer thinks he is worth and his usefulness within the team... after the Wembley game I would be offering new contracts to ensure the core players were on board for 3 seasons Feilding..... Little.... Ayling..... Williams ....Flint .... Smith ... Bryan ... Agard.. .. Freeman Ensure JET Pack Cunningham Wagstaffe are on for 2 seasons along with Reid Burns Osbourne & Richards with Wilbers retained for another season We should also make it lucrative to finish in top 7 next season with an and or points total of 70. Squad should be increased to 24 with 4 new players in ... WIGAN has 32 players in their squad far to many for Lge 1 we need to avoid this type of scenario
They may be out of contract but we're disc It's not what we'll get for a player, just what I think they are worth! Redprint, I put up to 100k so that's anything from 0.01p to 100,000. Yes we will probably let him go on the free because he has been rubbish here but he still has worth because he's doing quite well at Bury. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them bid for him in the summer. You don't like Wagstaff but there will be a number of clubs willing to take him in this league in the next window (should we let him go) simply because he was part of a team that won the league (fingers crossed), so that will only bode well for him.
I'd go for Fielding 300-600k Little 600-900k Ayling 1 mil Flint 1.5-2.5 mil Williams 1.2mil Bryan 1.5mil Freeman 2-4mil K Smith 1-2.5mil Pack 300-500k JET 500k Agard 800k-1.5mil Wilbraham up to 100k Cunningham 3000-500k Osborne 200-400k El-Abd up to 100k Wagstaff 100-300k Reid 200-500k Burns 100-300k Richards up to 100k Elliott 0
Bryan is not valued as much as a few others, yet he's the only one rumoured to be interesting the prem club. I think he will be a good price along with Freeman., but I think Korey Smith will soon catch their eyes if he does well next season and could become our biggest export. My opinion mind and I respect the others views on players values as well. Apart from Red Boycie Robin, he's a car dealer so you can't believe a word he says
Some players are written of as rubbish by us, only to prove us wrong elsewhere. Bolassie for one (although I always liked him) and Pitman - hat trick yesterday and about to play in the prem, yet not good enough for us while we were struggling.
I can't remember much written off about Pitman? I think he was highly rated by loads on here. I'm not surprised thst he's banging them in the Championship with Bournemouth. One player I would love to see back playing for us.
I seem to remember that he (Pitman) wasn't highly rated on here but I can't quote anyone so I may be wrong. He certainly wasn't rated by successive managers and to be honest didn't deliver much on the rare occasion he did start for us. Can't argue with his current form though - maybe he was simply getting poor service from a poor team.
I really rate Bryan and struggle to understand some comments about him I have read on here. None really slating him, but comments like 'he won't take defenders on...' I thought he did that all game against Fleetwood - which was a factor in me voting him MOTM.
I really rate Bryan' So do I. 'he won't take defenders on...' You should have seen him last Tuesday. Joe just knocked it down the line and crossed time and time again. He was excellent going forward and back. It was tough to choose between him and Pack for M O M.
A player is only as good as the players around him, the trick is to mould a team. SC has succeeded in doing this. The only flaw is the absence of a top goal scorer. When he bought Agard he said he saw in him "goals". If we had a Garner or Sharp in the team we would now be 20 points clear, but would they be better team players? The great thing about football is that it all about opinions. But to SC opinions mean diddly squat. He's top of the league and bomb proof.
'The only flaw is the absence of a top goal scorer' Just a thought. Wilbraham has been injured and has scored 13 goals. Cotterill brought in a 'like for like' striker when Wilbraham got in injured - Matt Smith. Matt Smith scored 13 goals. That's 26 goals by mid March for that 1 position. Seems like a'top goal scorer' to me.
Totally agree. I see Smith is scoring for Fulham again now we reminded him where the goal was. Perhaps we should submit our invoice for training to Craven Cottage?!!!
