Williamson - 5 - Don't understand all of the 7's? Colo covered for him so many times, and Bent won headers off him. Also - hooooof!! Then Villa won possession again
Coloccini - 8 - Had to cover for all of our defenders today - was outstanding again
Santon - 5 - Got caught out too many times for me. Good going forward though

Raylor - 6 - Did good before he went off
Perch - 7 - Went about his job in a good, solid way. Beginning to like the lad
Guthrie - 8 - Very good performance - having a good time atm
Jonas - 8 - Very, very good. Covered for Santon on a number of occasions and did great going forward

Ba - 7 - Good goal, looked tired, but definetly deserved the 7
Best - 6 - Went off early

Cisse - 7 - Amazing goal, some good bits of play
Obertan - 7 - Did well when introduced - seems to thrive when criticized
Ameobi - 5 - Came on for a few minutes and gave it away every time he got it

im sorry but willo, santon and ameobi all had solid matches, did you watch the game?
 
Guthrie has been far better than Cabaye this season, he deserves to keep his place when Tiote comes back. Cabaye and Tiote work so well together and have a good understanding. Can Pardew accommodate all three? Interesting times.
 
Obertan did some really important tracking back today (including a great tackle on Insomnia).7 for me.

People will disagree with me about Willo, but he hoofs it all of the time and everytime Villa won back possession. He did win a lot in the air, but there were times where Bent (5ft 10) won headers off him, also he made some blips where Colo had to cover for him, same with Santon - who was good going forward, but Jonas always had to cover for him a lot! But, he will learn with age.

I agree Williamson has been shaky this season, hopefully he can steady himself. We are screwed if we get any CB injuries or suspensions.

Don't get me wrong, I do like Willo - he is a decent player for us and maybe I am being harsh, but I genuinely believe he was average today - Bent could easily have scored a couple if he had his shooting boots on, also the goal - Willo was nowhere near Keane.

Yeah, lets hope both centre backs can stay fit - we need them!
 
Willo has been hoofing the ball and giving away possession but he's back from injury and getting in the swing of thing.

Simmo was caught out a few times today.

Krul was commanding in goal and thought Perch had a good game.
 
Simpson is consistent but we need a better right back really so ben arfa can flourish and to give us better crosses in for the two dembas.

Simpson is woeful at crossing lol
 
The best kind of referee is the one you don't remember. Can't remember much about this guy, so he must of had a good game
