Schmeichel- 7 Nothing to do at all. Could do nothing with the goal De Laet- 7.5 Solid defensively and got forward well Morgan- 6 Probably his worst game in a Leicester shirt but Hull failed to capitalise on his mistake. St. Ledger dug him out a few times. But a great run at the end, skined 2 or 3 Hull players St. Ledger- 7 Solid Konchesky- 7.5 Solid defensively and got forward well Marshall- 6 Didnt have a great game by his standards Drinkwater- 8 Ran the midfield. Still has Aluko in his pocket now James- 7.5 He keeps everything moving and simple Knockaert- 8.5 MOTM. Absolutely teared Hull in half with his skills. His ball control is brillaint, cracking find by Walshy Vardy-6.5 Worked hard but missed 2 glourious chances. The one at the start of the 2nd half should have been buried, no excuses Nugent-8 Took his chances brilliantly and worked hard for the team. King, Waghorn and Dyer wasnt on long enough for a rating
Schmeichel did make agood save second half so would give him 7.5 Agree with Marshall one of his worst performances not convinced with James - perhaps his role goes a bit unnoticed but does seem to contribute
I will have a guess at ours. Amos - 7 Elmohamady - 5 Bruce - 5 Chester - 6 Faye - 6 Dudgeon - 6 Quinn - 7 Koren - 5 Evans - 4 Aluko - 7 Simpson - 6 Would anyone say that is about right?
Schmeichel- 7 Good save from an Aluko shot. De Laet- 7.5 Solid game seeming he was outnumbered by Hull a couple of times Morgan- 6.5 Shakey game, but still a tank at the back, doesn't need to do the Bamba runs though St. Ledger- 6.5 Again shakey for me, got caught too tight to Aluko and got turned, could have been 1 down if not for a dodgy free kick in our favour. Konchesky- 8.5 Best game ive seen him play, didnt do any stupid tackles, and got forward well. Marshall- 6.5 Seems to be too readable being a right footed player on the left wing, but did run his socks off to help Konch when we didnt have the ball. Drinkwater- 8 Solid performance all round, even making runs when James was covering. James- 7 Not as good as DD today, still unconvinced by him, but made no errors. Knockaert- 8 Shines of brilliance, great crosses and technique, great goal line save, but faded near the end and didnt hassle as much as i'd want him to when we didnt have the ball, left DD/James to cover our right wing. Vardy-7.5 Worked hard, just need composure in front of goal, first touch has improved alot, especially to make the first chance. Many would say that Beckford would have buried those 2 chances, but would he have put in the effort to be in that position in the first place? Nugent-9 Striker that scored 3 goals, enough said King - 7 Took over from James well Waghorn - 6.5 Was briefly placed on the right wing, which left us with a worn out Nuge up front, which meant we were on the back foot (but thats more Pearsons fault), but when he moved up front, he put the effort in and did well with the break away. Dyer - 6.5 Only was really involved with his assist for the 3rd, other than that im not sure he even touched the ball.
Hat-trick is a straight 10 in my eyes, though didn't see it obviously so can't comment on overall performance. How many chances did he fluff?
I've seen the highlights now and Vardy did get unlucky. Amos knew nothing about both saves, although I suppose he took the 'Schmeichel' technique of just getting in the way of it. Had he gone down for the first he'd have been given a penalty. I think it was Bruce who tackled and got nowhere near the ball. He'll get his break. He's been very unlucky in front of goal.
To give Nugent 8 means, to me, he did almost FA all game accept take 3 of his chances. I don´t always agree that a player scoring a hattrick should get MOTM, but for me he got 9 & Knockaert got 9.5. Knockaert will only get better & better imo, we had better keep hold of him because we´ll need him if we want to go up & we´ll need him if we do go up. If that makes sense.
You can´t get MOTM for standing around for 90 mins, having 3 touches & scoring with all of them. Not saying that´s what Nugent did it´s just an i.e. Work rate, Knockaert MOTM. Fast becoming my fav LC player this season.
Scoring goals is the hardest thing in football to do. Not just technically, but staying mentally strong too. We've had no end of players that have worked hard and looked a threat, but can't finish. Hell, Dyer would get man of the match week in week out if that were the case. That reminds me, whatever happened to Lord Dyer?
Knockaert cleared Proschwitz header off the line and we countered and scored for the 3rd Knockaert completely turned Koren inside out and put a great cross over for the 2nd Knockaert put Vardy in twice with superb through balls His ball control and skill is probably the best I have seen in this league. All round top performance by a top player Steve Walsh take a bow
Isn't it a refreshing change we're arguing about which player was most responsible for ripping Hull apart?
Ripping Hull apart? You were the better team, but you nowhere near ripped anyone apart, you deluded gimp.
Lets be honest Knockaert ripped you apart. We fully deserved the win and the 3-1 scoreline didnt even come close to flattering us
You're the deluded one my friend if you believe otherwise. We should have been 3-0 in the first ten minutes. Vardy had a couple of great chances and the ball was cleared off your lines a couple of times. 3-1 flattered Hull if anything. And to think that Marshall had a poor game, I think it's safe to assume we can play better than that. I'm sure it will be a different story at your place, but any other result than a comfortable win for yesterday would have been an injustice.
It was almost 2-2 at 90 minutes, Knocky saved you. You were the better team on the day and absolutely deserved the win, but a pasting? Not a ****ing chance.
Marshall had 1 off the line, Vardy had 1 off the line and also missed 2 chances he should have buried Kasper didnt have anything to do
