    Player Ratings:

Cech - 4/10 - Poor distribution, second goal was all his fault. Made 1-2 decent saves.

Ivanovic - 5/10 - So many missplaced passes, a couple of poor shots. scored again ha!
Cahill - 7/10 - Not much he could do for the first goal, good shot for the goal!
Terry - 7/10 - Thought Terry was pretty solid tonight!
A.Cole - 5/10 - Poor defensively, got beaten too many times but great pass for Torres!

Mikel - 5/10 - Average performance I guess. Not great but not bad.
Lampard - 5/10 - Same as Mikel but good penalty!

Ramires - 5/10 - Didn't do great, should have passed to Torres, pretty average.
Mata - 7/10 - He did alright tonight, moved the ball quite well, good pass for A.Cole!
Hazard - 9/10 - Assist for penalty & Cahill & Ivanovic. BRILLIANT TONIGHT!

Torres - 6/10 - Looked sharp at times, also poor at times. Good goal though!

    Subs:
Oscar - 5/10 - Didn't do too much, couple of poor touches as well.
Sturridge - 7/10 - Looked quite sharp and quick, changed the game with his pace.
Meireles - 5/10 - Sat in midfield for the last 5 mins, didn't do much but did fine.

    Man Of The Match: Hazzard.

    Positives:
    Hazard.
    RDM'S Changes.
    Great comeback!

    Negatives:
    Defence - Cech, Ivanovic & A.Cole.
    Midfield - Mikel & Lampard.
We struggled for most of the game at home to Reading..

Totally agree Joey! However I feel you've been a bit harsh on poor old Petr! He was dire for their second but I felt he commanded his area well from then on in <ok>

Yeah maybe Drogs! He did make a couple of important catches in those last 5 mins to ease pressure of the defence but that mistake was very un-like him.

Hopefully it won't happen again <ok>

We need to step up our performances a little, early days yet tho, and none of our rivals have been impressive either, City barely beat newly promoted Southampton, Arsenal draw a blank, Man Utd were poor against the Toffees, Spurs were a little unlucky but were ultimately second best to the Barcodes.
At this stage i am happy that we have 6 points, we still have time to gel, and the more points we can pick up in the meantime the better.

Hazard was superb, already looks like the PL Signing of the 2012/13 Season...4 assists in 2 games.

You mentioned Cahill's goal, I was under the impression that was Mata's assist?

6 Points clear of Manure...<wizard> MAGIC!

Pretty much <ok>. Hope Luiz is back by then, he seems to compliment both Terry and Cahill. We dominated 'till they scored their wonder goal and let's be honest their 2nd was rather lucky.

    Cech 5
    Ivan 6
    Cahill 6
    Cole 3
    Terry 5
    Mikel 5
    Lampard 2
    Ramires 4
    Mata 7
    Hazard 9
    Torres 5

Yet again the midfield was dire. FFS Robbie, bench Lampard, hes totally ,absolutely useless playing deep because hes miles too slow. his time is past except to play a 20 min cameo when he can go flat out and look like the Frank of old.
    Time to move on.
Good win disguises serious problems, especially midfield and strikers. Terry is also too slow to be first choice.
Ivan again shows just how good he is at right back. None better.

On another note, how f**king good is Hazard looking :)
5 assists in two games, surely wont be long before he gets on the score sheet either. If we can keep him fit and Torres can keep grabbing goals, we should definately improve on last years league form.

Another positive note, this is a game that a season or two ago, we wouldn't have managed a comeback and a victory. We would have ended up either losing 3-1 or had the opposing team equalise at the end to make it 3-3.

Goal.com are a joke. They've put Cech as 'Flop of the Match' because of the one mistake.

    Cech - 6
Ivanovic - 6 (struggled at times but got up and got another goal so deserves a 6 at least)
    Terry - 6
    Cahill - 7
    Cole - 6
Mikel - 5 (gave the ball away to much)
Lampard - 6 (grew into the game when pushed forward)
Ramires - 5 (his worst game in a long time but getting over illness)
    Mata - 6.5
Hazard - 9 (3 assists says it all)
Torres - 7 (constant goal threat)

    Subs

    Oscar - 6.5
    Sturridge - 6
    Meireles - 6

backs against the wall and the lads responded showing great spirit we would have lost this game last year .

Wasn't Torres that good? All the ratings that have been given are relatively low, I suppose he scored but didn't he offer much else?

he made some really good runs he had 2 chances one he would have scored on another day and the other he took well it was his movement that impressed me there were a few times he would have been in if certain players had released the ball quicker .

He certainly seems to be improving for you guys anyway, and scoring will give him a boost in confident. I reckon he'll do a lot better this year and will score at least 15 goals for you guys.

15 goals sounds like a decent amount we have players like Mata Hazard Lamps and Ramires who will score a good amount to so i think we are well set to challenge for the title but i still feel we arent quite ready to win it maybe next year depends on how we do in the November December period where games come thick and fast to see where we are .

I thought we'd start slow this season so am very pleased we've at least come away with 6 points from these 2 games. If we can keep picking up points whilst the team gels etc then we will do well this season especially new year onwards I think.

Anyway we rode our luck a little but lets remain positive: -

    2 wins from 2
Torres has 2 in 3 and looks hungry and sharp
Hazard...world class player in the making
8 goals scored in 3 games
    top of the league
    European Champions
Spurs and United and Liverpool on nil points, long may it continue
