Firstly I'd just like to say what a fantastic performance against one of the in form teams in the division.

Schmeichel: Not much to do, good hands and took crosses well. 7.
Peltier: Good work going forward and defensively. 8.
Mills: Great in the air and on the ground, one of is best games. 8.
    Bamba: See above
Konckesky: Lost the balls with a few wayward passes, but generally solid. 7.
Abe: Great work breaking up Derby attacks and starting Leicester ones. 7.
Danns: Not brilliant, but better, starting to find his feet. 6.
Fernandes: Similar to Danns, didn't set the world alight, but got a foot in, great quick thinking for Nugent's goal. 6.
King: Better, great going forward, and good defensively. Starting to see him at his best again. 8.
Nugent: Good work as he came straight back from injury, great run for the goal, with a cool finish. 7.
Vassell Much better, looked dangerous, held the play up well, and a goal poacher's goal. 8.

Schlupp. Apart from the goal, quiet ineffectual, but another good poacher's goal, the first of many please! 7.
    Howard:*
Dyer: Good running, lost the ball a couple of times but a cool finish for the 4th. 7.

    * RE Howard, what a credit to the club. He's been out the team for a while, but came back on top form. Made Lloyd's goal, and just put in a brilliant, professional performance. When he was getting the Kop going after winning that corner just before Schlupp's goal, even i was on my feet shouting and i was in a sparsely populated pub, on my own.

Sven: Got his tactics just right today, and knew to bring Howard on, good timing with the Introduction of Lloyd and Jeff

Atmosphere: Really good today, from beginning to the end I heard Leicester fans making noise, and didn't hear a peep out of the derby fans. Great Work everyone!

Hopefully this will put a bit of confidence into the side and the fans, and we can go on a good, long, unbeaten run.

Ummm. I'm beginning to see what some have been saying about lack of creativity and goal-scorers. A poor result today - I wanted at least an 8-0 win. We should be top of the league by now by about 15 points or more, so Sven out for me.

I agree with the OP. (he is my son after all!). We were on the phone to each other when the second goal went in, what a moment. And have to agree about Steve the Legend. He represents ALL us fans, he just wants to play for the mighty Leicester.

Schmeichel - 8 - Took a lot of decent crosses and shots so easily. By far the best keeper we have had since Tim Flowers.

Peltier - 8 - Is he better than Naughton?! I'm starting to think so; he's strong, quick and fantastic in the air.

Mills 9 - A few early mistakes didn't stop him from having his best performance in a city shirt. Some of his blocks and tackles were different class.

    Bamba - 8 - Class. End of.

Koncheskey - 7 - Got clattered first half but his second half display showed he can pass the ball around very nicely.

Abe - 8 - Was in the faces of the Derby midfield all game. He should keep his place over Wellens for Birmingham.

Danns - 7 - He should have passed the ball a bit more, he often ran into trouble. His crosses were different class.

Fernandes - 8 - Good passing, controlled the midfield and his pass for Nugents first was brilliant.

King - 8 - THANK GOD, THE LAD DOES HAVE SOME AGGRESSION! He finally looked like he wanted the ball and he made some excellent takles and passes.

Nugent - 8 - You could tell he was nackered but he ran his socks off, one of our best buys this summer.

Vassell - 7 - Hes a bit hit and miss but when he hits you don't half know about it. I missed his goal so I can't say anything about it.

Howard - 9 - What a credit to himself he is. He needs to stay on the bench because defenders cannot mark him. I wouldn't have been surprised if he gave little effort but he has the desire to play. We love you Steve.

Schlupp - 8 -He got his goal! Fantastic substitution. He came on and ruffled the feathers of the Derby defence again.

Dyer - 7 - Keeper should have saved his shot, he didn't do much else mind.

Sven - 10 - I hope he realises this formation will take us places, 4-3-3 is predictable, one striker is easy to mark.

Fans - 10 - Last ten minutes was quality, best atmosphere since we beat the trees 3-0.

King was like a different player today, fully agree with the post a few above this. I think Dannes deserves an 8. The chap was out of position but still moved well and caused problems. Schlupp did well, Howard showed he has a massive role to play and anyone watching on Sky like I was forced to will notice that Kasper has the best haircut in football right now!!

His mazy run was unbelievable, so wanted it to go in. Then his Gladiator style revving of the crowd was a magic moment.

TBF only 3 of them have left in that picture ;)

Really though, their support is shocking, I know the ticket prices are a disgrace and therefore the attendance poor from us as well as them, but they always travel poorly everywhere. It's funny how away fans are all chanting before the teams have come out but after kick off they generally spend the whole game watching us make noise with only 50 hardcore giving it a go (and it really was about 50 of them today). Atmosphere from our end was brillaint, from start to finish!

I loved it at half time when the 'Birch' went over to big Steve, shook his hand and said ,Nice to see you back mate, I normally bump into you shopping on a Saturday afternoon' Good old Birch, still has a cracking sense of humour at his age lol

"Kasper has the best haircut in football right now!!"

Agree Boris. Exceptionally neat - think he has it done at half time too!

Fantastic performance from the team yesterday and a fantastic result.

I do appreciate the Derby supporters though, although they left after the third (and lets face it, who could blame them), they did applaud Howard onto the pitch. Although I bet they regret that now <laugh>
