Listening to skysports's interview with our player's in asia scared me a bit!!

On one hand we have nasri and cesc to some degree, dictating and strangling the albeit tight and stush arsene..and arsenal board over transfer issues... wenger have to say he'll "fight" to keep our players (please lol)

and you wonder why when you have our players in a less well off country as walcott says "TREATING THEM LIKE GODS" ...why they get big heads..why more and more players are winding down their contracts to one season to go in order to put the club in a choke hold if cesc doesn't go now he knows he can go a year before his contract runs out - simple

wenger better pray the uefa new policy helps out his dreamworld of a policy because ..man u..chelsea...liverpool..man city..even spurs know that when a player gets the publicity (or rarely proves) that they are needing a bump up in their wage and contract terms ..they give it to them - no questions asked just a straight 6 figure sum to keep the player quiet...yes we can whine on how players shouldn't be paid that high amount, but the fact is players know "football" generates alot of money and they know without them there would be no football so they feel entitled to the biggest piece of the money pie and they get it..thats all except from arsenal

wenger and his econoimc degree makes him the decision maker and in my opinion ever since david dein has gone we have steadily destroyed the stable and assure wage structure we have - don't get me wrong wenger's intentions is good (even though he's probably earning 5..6million a year himself, 3..or 4 best paid manager in the world) but that doesn't stop the fact that players need and must be paid those ridiculous amounts if you want to announce yourself a "big club"..it's like saying there should be no war...throw away your weapons..the world knows its the right and moral thing to do..is anybody gonna do it??NO..so we just get on

as i said hopefully wenger's cunning plan of catching out teams' wage structure with the uefa policy works but for now he should just lower his pride (just like with his player policy) and accept for now pay the players what they must be paid to keep them then when the uefa policy comes in EVERYONE will have to restructure.

despite this whole blog being written it's sad to know not only will this be ignored by wenger ..arsenal but fellow fans will still be so far stuck up his arse they will think i'm having a rant when really im just giving a realistic insight as to what the "real" big teams do to cope with avoiding embarrassing media attention as we do it's pathetic how we keep getting degarded as a club..we have been and will continnue to be the laughing stock of the world while wenger says "well we are being the moral club..soon everybody will follow suit".. well i hope so for his sake..he can waggle his finger saying to the chelsea's..man city's "see i told you so"

soon..maybe not this or next season - it will be crunch time for wenger - either be prove wright or wrong about all his (fantasy-thinking) beleifs...wage policies..transfer policies..player policies..the lot

that or either david dein (our saviour) reutrns!

(in arsene we trust bigrade - bite me!)

    Spot on!

However as it is the fans not Wenger or the Board who actually pay the players wages, so more humility should be shown.

Eventually Fan power is going to turn against the players for their excesses.

let's hope so..but going by the Q&A forum not too long ago ..it appears even those prestige fans were rubbished by Ivan Garazidis when he said thow the club is support GLOBALLY therefore suggesting it doesn't matter if they don't get the support of most fans based close to the stadium they have the support of fans in other countries...who aren't affected by the steep ticket price etc. i mean think of it, why are they in asia - to train or to build up their PR..media status

sad times ahead of us...ah well do what i did..low expectations means you can't be disappointed too much!

I'm struggling to see how these 'Global' fans contribute to Arsenal at all. One Asian tour does not make or break a football club.

Our merchandise sales are pretty low abroad (prices?) so it can only be TV revenues via the PL.

Gazidis would do well to be less arrogant about the fans who made the club what it is less they bite him in the b*m.
