I have to say that it was good to see a few clubs standing up against players in the transfer window. Players seem to think contracts mean nothing and it's wrong. If a player signs a contract he should honour it and a club should too. Of course no one should be forced to 'work' where they don't want to but they signed the contract and take the money. Anyway, credit were it is due and well done to Liverpool and Man Utd and the others for standing their ground. Players need to start respecting contracts.
I was very proud of the way we handled the Suarez situation over the summer, spurs did similar when Madrid were after Modric telling player and club he wouldn't be sold until a replacement was found, but he went in the end and I think that's probably gonna happen with Suarez and maybe even Rooney. it's encouraging to see clubs trying to make players honor contracts more but end of the day they always go if they really want to. or they just don't turn up like Tevez lol im hoping we win the league and Adidas invent a muzzle for Suarez then he might stay.
