Interesting to here that we rejected this offer also interesting to here that Mr. Scally apparently said that 'he is going to birmingham for 750 grand'. Don't believe Mr. Scally to straight out show his hand by telling Fry that he is going to Birmingham. Who would the player have been as well? Possibly a striker?

Maybe if Fry wants to go voicing his opinion, it should be a two way street and he should also tell us how much the Posh actually offered?

You could buy the whołe of Birmingham (the city not the football club) for £750,000.

To be honest I know literally no one will agree with me but I'd probably take Sinclair for Payne in a swap with no cash involved. Lingazni can do Payne's job next year and we need another striker and a partnership of Sinclair and McDonald (if we get him) is good enough for a play off pushing League 1 side in my opinion.

a fine line between a chairman staying in touch with the fans, and a classless chairman doing his posturing through twitter. Somehow i think its the latter (1 10 goal season doesnt make emile sinclair a "prolific championship striker"

I agree with GFCLukey. Mind you it would be good if Scally could negotiate a deal for Sinclair and get money for Jack. I think though, that Jack will go to a championship club, although maybe not Birmingham and not for 750k.

Birmingham have just sold Curtis Davies to Hull City for £2.25M so they now have the money for Jack Payne.

Seems very likely that Birmingham were waiting to sell Davies first as I know his departure has been talked about for a while and now it is done they can now move for Payne, would be very surprised to see him at pre-season training tomorrow. More excitingly, maybe we have been in a similar situation to the birmingham one where we have been waiting to sell Payne so we can sign Cody?
