Yes - its that time again. This is a really difficult one with several stand-out performers. I would tend to go with defenders as clean sheets have been the most important feature of the season and no-one in attack or midfield has matched the consistency of the defence. My thoughts would be (in reverse order)
3rd Leutwiler - especially for some great one-on-one saves
2nd Knight- Percival - how Peterborough let him go is inexplicable
1st Goldson - a man-mountain in defence and the bonus of his seven goals just swings it for me.
    Any thoughts?

In the first stages of the season I'd have gone for Weso, later on Collins, then Mangan. Nkp would have got it but does being injured for a third of a season discount him? Woods would have got it if he'd chipped in with some assists or goals.
So it is probably between Lawrence, Goldson and Leutwiler. I would probably go for Leutwiler for the clean sheets.... No Lawrence for being strong in the latter stages... No Goldson for being consistent most of the time in defence. Arrrggghh...

Lawrence I'll discount for being dropped early on. So it's between Goldson and Leutwiler. I think Leutwiler gets it, just.

Hang on I forgot about the outstanding contribution by Southern...

I sincerely hope he does not get on the pitch. Well behind Clark and Irvine for me. I have already voted for Lawrence....a class act.
