Who is your player of the year
Mine is 1st Barrett 2nd Nelson 3rd Fish
Also Legge would have been in the top 2 if he came sooner.
Young Player is Davies with Dack a close second.
Best team over the season was
    Nelson,Fish, Barrett,Legge Martin, Wright,Payne Whipdale Weston Kedwell,Mcdonald
Shame they never all played at the same time.

I find it almost impossible to separate Nelson/Fish/Barrett and Martin. I guess if it was push come to shove it would have to be Fish or Nelson on the grounds that they have been virtually ever present. Nelson has been almost faultless but he has not been busy. On the other hand Fish has been outplayed on a couple of occasions by quality opponents. A very even group of candidates but it is really ironic that they are all defenders.

Yes without doubt the defence has been the key to why we are top. How many matches has Nelson Barrett or reacently Legge been m.o.m

    1. Nelson
    2. Fish
    3. Barrett, although I would select Legge but Barrett has longer minutes on the pitch.

People will always score goals but it's defence that earn clubs promotion.

Still Nelson for me, never failed to save us when called upon.

Barrett second, real leader and i'm more than happy that i've been proven wrong about him after my intial thoughts when we signed him.

Legge third, it doesn't matter that he has only been around for half a season, our attacking performances dropped dramatically since Christmas therefore we required an even more solid back line, Legge provided this.
