    Just a bit of fun.

Who has impressed you most this season from the opposition you have watched? - not necessarily in terms of success but on individual performances.

Mine would be Danny Ings at Saints - at one point I wondered whether his injuries had actually got the better of him ... but he has been a revelation and looks fully back to his best.

Rule is that you can't pick someone from your own team.

    <cheers>

Good call ... we couldn't get close to Pulisic in our cup game.

Yeah think I’d go with Ings too. He’s practically singlehandedly steered Southampton from relegation.

Nick Pope as an outside bet. Joint top for clean sheets so far and always seems to pull off some top saves. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s number one at the euros if he has another solid season.

Henderson’s been great for Sheffield as well, mind.

He was excellent yesterday, annoyingly so. You know when a player from a side you should be beating is that good against you that it just fcks you off... yeh that good.

    Dominic Solanke.

World beater that lad, I knew he’d come good.

Something I'd never really noticed about Ings until this season is how good his all round play is. I've always rated him as a finisher but he's also an excellent footballer.

Fosse also touched on it but it’s also doubly impressive when you consider the injuries he’s had to overcome.

Only going by yesterday's game he reads the game well, so knows where the ball's going to be and is always in the right place at the right time. Linked up really well with Redmond but tbf there's a good group of players around him.

This looks surreal. I used to play in the same team as ‘Bash’ so seeing somebody nominate him for POTY is crazy.

Ings has had a great season. For me though, he’s still very much in the one season wonder PL category, as his previous record is average at best, albeit it he’s been severely hampered by injury in the past.

    Dean Henderson
    Danny Ings
    Bruno Fernandes.

I’d probably go with Bruno Fernandes. He’s been phenomenal.
