...those outside the top six, and mighty Liverpool, need not read, vote or apply PFA Nominations - aguero, van persie, rooney, hart, Parker and silva Young PFA nominations - aguero, bale, walker, oxlade-chamberlain, sturridge and welbeck Damn, I was going to play my joker on Andrew Pilkington Damn pathetic
oh dear oh dear oh dear. how biased are these??? where are the geordies??? how the hell does scott parker get nominated??? also, who is andrew pilkington? out of those i'd go with van persie and aguero. cannot believe welbeck is in there... he's been pretty awful and sturridge has done nothing for months!
Hart I think Vorm has had a better season myself. Oxlade Chamberlain good player but barely plays and how many goals has Sturridge scored? No Valencia who absolutely bossed it for Mancs? What a rubbish list of nominations.
I think this will also indicate where the manager of the year will end up. What a pathetic list of nominies!
valencia is a good shout! if that lad had a left foot he'd be world class mind you, messi hasn't got a right foot... maybe we could merge the two!!
Absolutely pathetic. The six nominees, off the top of my head, in my opinion should be - Vorm, Ba, Bale, Demspey, McClean, Holt
Absolutely pathetic. Why Silva? He was great in the first half of the season but has done stuff all in the second half of the season. Also, why the heck are Welbeck and Sturridge there? Two better nominees would be McClean and manequin doll. The six nominees, off the top of my head, in my opinion should be - Vorm, Ba, Bale, Demspey, McClean, Holt
Ive always said that Dempsey is one of the most underrated players in the league. Had he been playing for a top side they would be raving about him... Although I expect him to move on soon, proberbly the gooners!
Wonky - Silva looked pretty good on Saturday to be fair - the ball seemed to stick to his feet at times. No idea how Sturridge and Wellbeck got in there - the boy McLean at Sunderland has had far more impact as has players such as Joe Allen and our own Pilks. Usual home-field advantage kind of stuff. Quite boring really. Hope Aguero wins both categories ....
Agreed wonky - maybe he's been suffering an attack of the Morison's recently and has lost form a bit - he certainly got it back last Saturday though unfortunately. Hopefully Morro will rediscover his form this Saturday !!
I think oxlade chamberlain is a brilliant player but according to twitter he has played less than 500 minutes of football this year.... how is he in the shortlist for best young players?
Still McLean is a good shout for young player. Is bale not on the list then? I also think kompany was worth a shout but defenders always overlooked
Lost of people saying well they had a great first half of the season. Apparently the players vote for this in february which would account for that. Still agree the list isn't great though
