Voting has begun already for the Barry Butler award. With nearly a quarter of the season still remaining? I'd guess it will be a two-horse race between Jerome and Bradders but there's still time for a late season cameo - starting with a top of the table propelling Whittaker hat-trick this afternoon...(in my dreams ) Here's how to cast your vote: http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/norwich-city-player-of-the-season-voting-open-2331886.aspx
Jerome's 17 (and counting) goals could well prove crucial as we enter the home straight. Hmm, all this talk of 'two-horse race' and 'home straight' makes me wish we had Paul Furlong - he'd be a shoo in
That would be it for me. Jerome might shade it because strikers scoring goals is always popular, but he's not been quite consistent enough IMO, whereas Bradders has been more or less consistently awesome and really developed his game all round.
Going to be Johnson. Player with the highest consistent level of performance even putting aside all his goals!
While Johnson is the clear front runner I would rather hold fire for another 6 games at the least. As in any race, there is generally a late surge from the pack and maybe another name will come to the fore. That would be good news surely!
