    The winners of January were:

    1. Byram
    2. McCormack
    3. Brown

Quite a bad month really (seem to say that every time) with three losses including the defeat to Man Citeh in the cup. Only the one win against Blackpool and two draws

    This month's results

    Leeds 0 - 1 Cardiff
    Wolves 2 - 2 Leeds
    Middlesborough 1 - 0 Leeds
    Man City 4 - 0 Leeds
    Leeds 2 - 0 Blackpool
    Blackburn 0 - 0 Leeds

Haven't seen too much this month to be honest so hard for me to say. But I'd probably be giving it to either Lee Peltier, who despite us conceding a lot of goals this month has looked very assured in centre defence. Ross McCormack, having only scored one goal in the month he is still our main attacking threat and creates a lot of chances for others to score, has perhaps been guilty of missing chances that last season he woulda put in the back of the net with ease or surprisingly Varney. Varney has actually started to find decent form, I still don't like the style that he brings to the team but there has been no denying his work rate and creative influences, again is guilty of not scoring enough chances that have fallen to him though

Vote away, I'd like to see comments saying why you voted who you did as well

I've gone for Pelts. He's settled down to his new role at centre back, looks solid, and the clean sheets are coming....

I've gone for Kenny. Apart from the occasional mistake that's cost us, he's consistently saved us from umpteen batterings - all season! It's not so much that he's been better this month that I've voted for him - it's more that no-one else has shone particularly much. Pelts is only doing what he's supposed to do at CB. He's not been outstanding IMO, and Kenny's probably been more responsible for the clean sheets than him. Byram has been having a wee bit of a rough patch by his standards, and seems to be coming through it, thankfully, so no vote for him either. Varney? He would only get my vote for arse of the month. I have never seen a Leeds player so inept in front of goal. If he's not missing sitters, he's getting in the way of people who can score. There's more change of David Batty getting a shot on target than Veg, and he's retired!!

I agree that no one has been particularly outstanding this month. I agree that Varney has been missing sitters but he is really is starting to put some form together. I wouldn't have had him back in a leeds shirt early this season and I still believe that he is the weak link but he has had a good second half of the month. Linking up well and winning a lot of headers

Agreed, but having someone up front who is a good header of the ball just encourages us to hoof it. We can actually play good football if we keep the ball on the floor - as we've proved - but somehow we always go for the easy hoof option every time!

    WJ

He has been out on the wing and has taken people on over the last few games.

He is starting to change my mind about him hopefully with him getting injured we can give hall a chance (and hall takes his chance)

I know his performances merit me softening my view on him, but I've never seen a player in our shirt get so many chances and screw it up every time - apart from Dubious Duberry, perhaps! I haven't forgiven him yet. Hopefully he'll make me change my mind, but I still feel really hurt that he's let me down so often.
