Vote open, for me it was between Myles Weston, Danny Kedwell, Charlie Allen and Stuart Nelson but I went for Myles Weston simply for how he tore teams apart last season.

I only saw two games in August: Charlton friendly and Bradford L2. (Chesterfield being September).

Going to give it to Charlie Allen.

Although my choice is based on reports that I have read (cos i'm far away again) I'm giving it to Stuart Nelson. He's had to follow all the 'Gazza' hype and done a really good job so far. Keeper screws up.......no one else to blame and a tough position. Scorers, no matter how many they get, they can only (normally) finish off what the engine room (midfield ) provides.
I reckon when Whelps, Lee and Weston are firing on all cylinders we will see the best (which I feel is yet to come) from Kedwell.

Birchall and Burton's influence will be interesting too. Looking forward to sitting out here watching GFC and BBC 'live' updates.......and hopefully catch a home game when I'm home late in October.
    Go go Gills

Charlie Allen has been so much better than expected so he would get my vote. MOM against Boro and we played much better when he came on against Chesterfield

Charlie Allen was also vital in the Wycombe game when he came on at half time for Dack he changed the game. When he arrived we worried if he was good and was he just at the club because of his dad however he has been brilliant.

Nelson Allen Weston and Kedwell have been best so far. Have also been impressed by Fish, Barnett and Davis .My vote just about goes to Kedwell as he looks a lot sharper and seems to have more power in his shooting.

I may have been blinded or under some sort of influence but I think that Allen has been decidedly lacklustre (Wycombe aside) so far this season. Given it to Joe Martin.

    ....

Okay I knew you wouldn't fall for that last one. Stuart Nelson.

So Kedwell has a big lead at the moment followed by Weston in second.
