A difficult choice this season with 4 or 5 players standing out for me. At the beginning Holy stood out without whom we could have been even further adrift.
For me though Zakrani and Byrne have been the most consintant. Eaves and Parker have both also done well aswell as Ehmer having his best season. At right back O Neill after Christmas looked real class.
    So for me it is
    Player of season goes to
    1 Byrne
    2 Zakrani
    3 Holy
Manager of season goes to Lovell

Well looks like Zak wins it on the star player poll with Holy Eaves and Byrne battling out for 2nd do you agree

For me my player of the season has to be between Luke O'Neill and Gabriel Zakuani. Without O'Neill's work down the right hand side we probably wouldn't have, nearly as many goals this season and he's also contributed some fantastic tackles (Portsmouth away especially too). Zak has lead the line well at the back and always seems determined to put his body in front of the ball, no matter what part of his body it is. Old fashioned centre back but certainly effective.

Both deserve the plaudits for me but I assume Eaves will win the club awards.

See I disagree, during the Pennock and Taylor tenure, O'Neill was one of the few that came away with any sort of credit. He took an injury which lead him to being out for a few weeks but he was regularly putting in consistent performances where others weren't. His only problem with being a right back is that a lot of the hard work full backs put in goes unnoticed however he's been one of our best, if not our best player this season.

At the beginning O Neil played a couple of good games but i wasnot sure if he was a centre half or a right back. Did not get forward enough. Thought Claire did better than O Neil at right back. Things changed around Christmas and he has been one of the best players since then
