Looking at the play-off positions is interesting....all four clubs.....Fleetwood,Burton.Oxford and Southend are all struggling at present....especially Southend who haven't won in over ten games.

I think York will move into a play-off position soon....they are doing well and are just above us at present......I know we have a game in hand....but we need to win it to have a chance,as well as winning on Tuesday.

Kind of agree, but I think this week is crucial. Of the teams in places 5 to 10 only Argyle have a midweek match, so 3 points on Tuesday guarantees us moving into a playoff position but will also mean we have played the same number of games as those around us. Obviously a failure to win will leave us still outside the playoffs with the game in hand gone and will mean that to a certain extent our destiny is outside our complete control. Need the 3 points on Tuesday to stop us being dragged back into the 'also-rans'.

Never fear lyndhurst this is Argyle afterall. Since when did they ever let you down? I will wear my lucky skidders and they are sure to win.

Lucky skidders duly worn and sure enough the result we wanted. I actually think 3 points out of the last 2 games is quite acceptable given they were the top 2 sides. On paper, where football is never played of course, the next 2 are far easier than that.

We have finally made that step into the play off positions. I would say the next 2 games are as crucial as the last 2 any day. Oxford are within easy reach and a run now could see us sneak into automatic contention. Dizzy heights for us if you take the last 5 years.

yes, feeling optimistic now- just need to make sure we don't relax and think the hard work is done- I suspect this might go down to the wire and there are bound to be some ups and downs in the next few weeks.

wembley web site thinks it is the 26th. Worry about that if/when it happens. Personally I agree with greenarmy 9 games all winnable, = 27 points, which i reckon will be enough for 3rd!

Now where did I put them green tints? Ah there they are. Yep 3rd stitched on, can see it now.

I am not even going to believe the play offs are possible until and only if it is mathmatically impossible for us not to be in them. I would love another day out at Wembley though.

Did I tell you I take a 10% cut in all winnings from 2 - 1 results joe? Not sure about wanting to send Exeter down. I don't want either of the other Devon sides disappearing. Not even them....

Don't tell me you tried a punt at Cheltenham joe? Second only to Aintree as a bookies benefit meeting. The difference between Cheltenham and say Folkestone on a wet and windy Wednesday is that every single one at Cheltenham is trying hard. Hence the prices and the uncertainty. I used to "follow" the horses once upon a time but nowadays just watch them on occasions. Eventually learned that I wasn't going to win overall and why Bookies drove fancy cars and lived in big houses.

Anyone have a flutter on Argyle promotion before start of season?...could work out a nice earner indeed!

Really hope we win today as Southend could only manage a draw and maybe others below us will falter a little and start to open up a gap...COYG.
