Watford vs Palace. Who do we think will win? Who do we want to win? For me I don't like how Watford have gone about their business and add in The Kevin Phillips factor im hoping for Palace to win it. Plus Holloway is great and he'd be great to have back in the Prem
Want Crystal Palace to come up as I like Holloway and Phillips… However Watford have a transfer embargo until 1st September…meaning they would be buggered as they cant sign 15 parent club loanees for the season…therefore they would have 12 players on the books and be 20th at a dead certain
They had a transfer embargo for some reason due to their last owners…obviously with the new owners, got a parent club and can sign as many as you want However the FA have realised that this is a loop that needs closing as it is unfair on other teams, therefore are rectifying it Therefore all they can sign is free contracts or 2 parent club loanees i believe
The correct answer I also think Watford have played better football, I like Zola (although I do also like Holloway..). I think whoever wins is nailed on for 20th anyway like, and whoever loses will not be in the hunt next year.
Would like to see SKP be a Wembley winner after 2 previous losses in this format. Also, if he were offered a 12 month contract we may get one final chance to see the little diamond back at the SOL again next season. That said, i have a lot of time, affection and respect for both Holloway and especially Zola so its a win win for me either way.
Honestly, think a bolo type signing would be perfect. he wouldnt get many games but his influence would be immeasurable
