wanting to hold the Euros all over europe so a team could play in England, then Russia and finally Sweden for the group games.

When asked about the fans, he replied "they can use budget airlines"
Of course the airlines will massively hike their prices too.

How can people be so out of touch? There were rows of empty seats for every game in the euros so far because fans didnt want to go, Id love to see it look like the ACON games if he decided to go ahead with this dumb idea.

Flyer, THIS proves YOU are completely out of touch.

What Platini proposes is no different to how the World Cup was played in the USA, where the country is 5-hours-wide by plane from coast to coast. The distance is not an issue. What Platini proposes will be about the same as that, where 3000 miles can be covered from West to East within the 20 countries of Europe.

And if the proposal works, it will be a crowning achievement of whole of Europe to get together and work it out. In fact, fans will initially have to travel LESS, as their teams won't have to cross thousands of miles to play at their next stadium but will be centralized to certain regions of the 12 countries to favour the groupings, therefore the costs of the planes, hotels and movement will be less!

So THINK before you blurt out nonsense, Flyer.

He's been quiet a long time. Turns up, posts crap, gets abuse, disappears. Obviously works on the team advising Platini, which explains a lot.

The draw for the European Championships has been rather unkind to England in 2020.

Their first game, against Switzerland, will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. The second game, 5 days later, sees them take on Croatia in Istanbul, followed another 5 days later by facing tournament favorites France (who played in Eindhoven and Osloin their first 2 games) in Stockholm.

That'll be a whopping 5959 miles of traveling in 10 days. Can anyone nOT see Platini trying this?

The dopey **** is still insisting his goal-line officials are better than technology. How does one stupid man wield such power? And FIFA can look forward to his 'leadership' when that other buffoon Splatter retires with lorry-loads of largesse in 2015...

The very same officials who missed the Ukraine ball going over the line, the earlier offside is doesnt matter because it means those officials cant do their jobs.
