I totally tune out when any plastic tries to talk to me about anything football related and tend to not even reply? Anyone else do that?

If plastic is actually talking to you I suggest you see a psychiatrist and check what drugs you've been taking - it's only an oil-based inanimate material.

Depends on how you define a "plastic"

if you define a plastic as a lesser fan than you..
surely your own arrogance means that YOU are the pinnacle fan, so surely no one can talk to you.

A plastic is simply anyone who does not support their local team and specifically chooses another team due to footballing achievements.

If I can be bothered to I challenge them on the absurdity of supporting a team from a city miles away that they have no links with and have often never visited and that is now in the same division as their home town team.

Great to see more local kids wearing Hull City kits than ever before, win over the proto-plastics in the playground and the future is ours.

I know what you mean. You get old dears talking to you about what a shame it is that the great Leeds United have been ran into the ground and can't be bothered to explain why they're wrong.

Just let people be what they want to be! Don't be a football snob! We're gonna attract more fans the more we stay in this league (hopefully) :)

On the train back from the Forest game last season, this couple sat at mine and my cousins table and said

"I'm guessing you two went to the football? What was the score?"

    "We won 2-1." I replied

"You beat Forest? My that is a big achievement to beat the winners of the European Cup!"

I then pretended to be asleep so I wouldn't pretend to live in the past and left it to my cousin <laugh>

This is the gayest thread ever and embarrassing. Can't a mod delete it?

I totally tune out when anyone with Thatcher rather than a Hull City legend for their avatar tries to talk about football.

Why would a political belief affect ones view on football?

It's a football forum and more specifically one about Hull City. If it was a political debating forum then your avatar would be fine.
