Covid Passport needed. ?? - Advance warning for the weekend....... (( or any excuse not to go to the game. )) The link, below, states that a? Covid 'Passport' will be needed by attendees of venues with 10,000. I might be 'over thinking' the situation - or the report might be slightly confusing - but-....... I suspect that 'with' (10,000), actually means any venue that can hold 10,000+ rather than the miserable number that will be rattling around Priestfield on Saturday. The FA have stated that Plan B will affect 7 out of the 12 League 1 games this weekend... I have taken a look - and see that Gills 'should' be one of the seven - with a ground capable of holding 10,000+ https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59613384 It would be useful if The Club could put clarification on the website - - but - no worries, you can always rely on me to provide you with serious journalism......................... don't worry, I've got a cracker of rubbish going into the ARGRS thread - just to restore normality..... ( anyway -you already knew that Plan A is Hoofball - I didn't want you to think that Plan B was the 'long throw' routine. )
I'm guessing the club read your comments. https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2021/december/covid-19-plan-b-notice/ Whoooooooa hold your horses, another update, only an hour ago this one... https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2021/december/club-statement---16.12.21/ Given a number of positive COVID tests this morning amongst staff members, the Chairman has decided that, in the interests of safety of all personnel, the stadium should be closed immediately and staff asked to return to their homes.
