Ipswich fan in peace. Just wanted to ask about drinking holes around town and the King Power as an away fan, I have been going to a few away games for years but Leicester is still on my 'to do list' and now that I live here on Braunie Gate I am planning on making the short mile walk up the river to see the match, as I have a few (Fellow Tractor boy) mates are coming up I was wondering if there were any drinking establishments that are to be avoided as an away fan? Obviously I'll be visiting some of my locals such as Natterjacks, Bowstring etc. but as an Ipswich fan I've never seen us have any issues with other clubs (except when we play Norwich) because we are a bit of a nothing club to most of our opponents but just checking I don't walk myself into avoidable trouble somewhere in town
There is the counting house and the local hero, which are both 5 mins walk from the King Power. Both are near Morrisons aswell if you want to do any shopping
