It is expected that the upcoming Premier League TV rights bonanza, that could reap an astonishing near £5billion from the domestic market with a £10million-a-game valuation, will galvanise campaigning about lowering the price of match tickets. The Premier League, despite all the billions coming into the coffers from television contracts, still need full stadiums to sell the product. There can be no reason whatsoever after the jackpot rights deals are announced in February for ticket prices at all Premier Leage clubs not to come down.
pfft if you call it that it's exploitation just like the fuel is people need fuel and hardcore support of football teams won't turn down going regardless of the price.
History has shown us that as the amount of money getting ploughed into football increases, so do player transfer fees and player wages. Ticket prices will never come down as a result of this.
Over 60% of the cost of a football ticket isn't taxes and duties imposed by the government so it isn't a very good comparison.
oh how so original.. it's boring as f** mate.. it's why i say this is the s**ttest board on not 606 but keep going i just find it funny how you regularly use the 'jock' as an insult, like what are you trying to gain? should i be supporting motherwell or peterhead?
Facts are boring? Or just the ones which disprove your statements? I don't recall using the term Jock regularly. And don't regard it as an insult. Maybe you are more delicate than us sassenachs.
i'd reply if you offered something decent but you have less than 2.5k posts, so you're about as useful as a chocolate fireguard
Attendances have never been higher than they are now. **** that i dont want any old riff raff let in for the price of a jam jar lid.
