After two opening wins, the reds face their toughest test of the new season with a trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal.

Liverpool followed up their opening day victory against Stoke with an equally nail biting performance against newly promoted Bournemouth, a game settled by one questionable goal. The reds have now tallied six points out of six, however, the performances have been far from convincing and Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that it's merely due to the typical early season motions which the majority of PL teams go through.

The game itself against Bournemouth was won by a close ranged Benteke goal. The goal itself was questionable, with Phillipe Coutinho clearly interfering with play when Henderson whipped the ball in from out wide. Bournemouth also had a goal wrongly ruled out after the referee acclaimed that Lovren had been fouled in the build up. Had the luck been reversed on the day the outcome and pattern of play could of been different. Two positives from the game however were Firmino and Can both getting some more minutes and nearing match fitness, and may be in Rodgers thinking for the trip to Arsenal on the Monday.

Arsenal got their first win of the new season against Crystal Palace, courtesy of a Giroud wonder goal and an own goal. The win and the three points were much needed after the anti-climatic opening day loss at home to West Ham. Arsene Wenger will he hoping his team can now push on with a positive home performance against a side who haven't won at the Emirates since 2011.

The defense will stay the same.Rodgers has virtually confirmed this.

It all depends on Can and Firmino's fitness.

It turns out Henderson already had his injury before the game and played with pain killers, so it cannot be serious. Rodgers said its the bottom of his foot. Hecould have simplystepped on glass.

    Mignolet
    Clyne Skrtel Lovren Gomez
    Henderson Milner
    Firmino Lallana Coutinho
    Benteke
I personally think we ned Can for a game like this and expect Rodgers agrees. But is he fit to start? We will have to wait and see.

I reckon it will be tight, but I'm going for a classic 1-0 to the Arsenal. We've hardly set the league alight in our first two games, but we dug deep to get an away win at Palace and the opening day defeat to the Hammers was just a cold start imo.

I hope Liverpool do well this season, as even though Brenda is plum, I've got a lot of respect for Liverpool and a deep seated dislike of Man Utd. Whatever happens this season, you'd better make sure you finish above the Spuds. It really is a measure of a poor season finishing below them.

We did it on purpose so they thought they had a good season and didn't need to buy this year <ok>

Smuggled? We're having a street party and parade when we get rid.
Bigger fanfair for getting rid than when he arrived.

If Can starts and we have a midfield 3 of Henderson, Can and Milner we have a chance. Would take a draw right now, but expect a loss as usual at the Emirates
