I think Hendry has done the right thing in Bowing out. In fact he probably should have done so a few years back. Great career but no point flogging a dead horse.

Not that I watch snooker nowadays anyway. Boring as ****. Reached its peak in the 1985 Final when speccy four eyes made a remarkable recovery.

 

Snooker is not a sport - it's a game played in clubs by men that can't pull birds - sad bastards!

Seeing as Jimmy White was one of my idols as a boy, I can't say I ever liked Hendry much, so glad to see the back of him

 

He's only retiring from tournament snooker, but he'll remain in the game. His face will be used to sand new cues.

 

Any sport which can be played whilst drinking pints of lager and smpoking has a fair bit going for it.

 

Apart from Darts.

 

Golf

 

Dominoes.

Quite often play that with my daughter. Good fun.
