Not blaming latest manager necessarily but our team building and planning is pretty appalling if you look at the development of our centre mid and strikers since 2010.

that sums up our state for the past 3 seasons.

nothing has changed this season, and still we have 8 pts over Moanu says lot.

Without a shadow, Jose will sort the pivot and striker situ; just not in January.

Amazing that we are two points off the top with a Scouse donkey up top

Very good summary EC, except you didn't do the same exercise with the back 4 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Think you'll get the same result if you do. Interesting not a single "home grown youngster in any position except the now invisible Josh.

Was thinking about doing the back 4 too, but that would have been too negative!!

    Alex>Cahill all day long!

Still, think Cahill can be a squad player for us, and don't think Ash is finished yet.

A decent pivot would protect our back 4 too, or even a clinical striker in terms of pressure

We sure agree on that !! A pivot would link the back to the front and get the front end working heaps better, even our strikers would be played in more. That would allow the back 4 just a tad more time to organise themselves. I completely agree about Cahill, except he CAN be better than just a squadie , and Cole is miles from done. All of our defenders, plus Bertrand are very decent players. We have the flexibility to play Ivan in CD, but Jose needs to mix the 2 CDs better, and Azpi is a RIGHT back. Would love to see that young African kid brought in as well.I'd be spending all my money on the right midfielder.
