If del does not play pitman they can stick my season tickets where the sun don't shine.

Travesty not playing our only natural goal scorer.

Either play him or sell him,he is the only hope of scoring goals to keep us up simple as.

Del you might have a problem with him,but he is your best striker on your books.

    Mind boggleing.

WELL WELL WELL...we have suddenly become masters at collecting red and yellow cards maybe we should have a table to see if we have any players left at the end of the season!!!!!!!!!

4-4-2 at home that seems to work! Dont think DEMI has gotten the right end of the stick yet, we seem to be playing with a lot of stress the players need to chill a bit because otherwise we are DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED. THINK THEY SHADED IT, but yep thank goodness for PITTERS

Red Robin - why does Del have a problem with Pitman? I'm scratching my noggin wondering why he is riding the pine all the time - makes no sense when he was top scorer last season? If he does not start the next game, I would throw all my toys out of my pram if I was Brett.

He plays 5 in midfield because we dont have a multi million pound midfield and he has to compete with numbers.
It is the same system that worked for us in our first season back in the CCC, and does make sense.

I think Pitman is easily the best striker we have left on our books (with Steady second). Maybe DM cant abide by his laid back persona. He cant deny the guy's talent though. I think DM needs to think this through, because we cant afford many more slip-ups. If he would play Maynard when Maynard is waiting to leave us, then how can he justify leaving out Pitman because the guy smiles too much ?
And what is the deal with Stead ? Last year he was only 2nd best striker to Maynard

Not being too critical of DM here. I think he will prove to be worth his weight in gold, but no man is infallible

Maynard left 2 games ago, there is no denying he was our main man and thus he was played,we have played 3 games and not scored, 75% of the game tonight,no score,Pitman comes on 2 goals,he should be in our team against P/boro...

Let's just say they have their differences.

Del boy loved his maynards, even though he wanted away.
Del boy does not flavour the pitters in the same way.
The facts are pitman and stead are out of favour, yet they are the the two that can keep city in the championship.
Del boy needs to act in the best interests of the club, play your strongest line up.

Stead has had plenty of chances. If he would have come on instead of Pitman tonight we would have lost!

Banksy they play well together, remember before stead was injured, they looked a good pair up front working of each other.they complemented each other well.

Woods wins more in the air than stead, I felt that he has no one to flick on to playing on his own.
Pitman could play off him so think we could go two up front with the final 11 today. But not convinced that Elliott is the right player, breaks play up but then closes his eyes for the pass.
If Bolasie takes another corner I going to go mad! They were just wasteful.
Also why are we so **** at throw ins no player moves to give a option.

The first half an hour was like watching that asshole from my old secondary school finger my mum.

Then we got better, a few chances and that bar hit before half time. Slow out of the blocks again but it was hard to keep up with Palace's tactic of 'kick the ****ing ball as far as we can'. Pitman came on and the rest, they say, is Chinatown.

    Positives
Stephen McManus - Good debut. Made one glaring mistake then immediately chased the player down and put in a tackle I could only describe as Biblical. If I was a twat. Seems like the player we thought we signed when we got Damien Stewart.

Cole Skuse - Anticipated he'd do the Cisse role (they're dead ringers for each other - cheekbones), turns out he did a better Marvin impersonation. Did so many good tackles and looked so comfortable on the ball I'd thought we'd signed a new player... One who looks exactly like Cole Skuse. Should return to right back with renewed vigour.

Pitman and Wood - Wood? I hear nobody ask. Yes Wood. Dude had nothing all game. He'd retain the ball and get mobbed by yellow shirts, while Bolasie looked on and winced. 'He needs someone close to him.' Is what I totally said to the chair where my Uncle should have been sat in. Then Pitman emerged and they formed a couple befitting of such a day (tuesday).

    Negatives
Who the feck cares ya' miserable bastards.

    ---------------James----------------
    Skuse----Fonts----McManus----Foster
    Adomah-----Elliott----Cisse----Pearson
    ---------------Kilkenny---------------
    ---------------Pitman----------------

Team for Peter-what's it. I've dropped Wood as I ain't too sure about this whole 442 thing away, and he can always come on to replace whichever midfielder is having their token **** day.

Wood is a better player than Stead. I would prefer to see Wood in a 4-4-2 but it really does open us up. Having said that we were woeful for the first 20 minutes so why not try it, but you would have to lose Bolasie. (He may be better as an impact sub anyway)

Thought Mcgivern was miles off and would prefer to see skuse back to right back and foster to the left.

Come on banksy, I bet that RM is far from the only fullback that has been skinned by Zaha this year - quite simply, he was outpaced and I doubt Skusey would have done any better...

Why does DM bring on the best striker at the club with just 20 minutes to go at home???? I don't understand.
    It's not rocket science.

Its not a time for weak hearts, for the first time in the past 3 years I am seriously worried about our ability to lift ourselves up.

15 games to go and another 19 or 20 points needed, goal difference now totally ****e and the next 7 games for all the teams in the NPC DO OR DIE FOR ANOTHER YEAR......MY PREDICTION FOR THE BOTTOM 3 remains as it was when I commented after game 18...providing we finish better than 22nd !!!!

Good comeback when another home defeat looked a cetainty....and the Barcelona of L2 are back to their normal habits of losing. Let's see how many of them are all over our board today after a defeat to the mighty Shrews.

Other results for the teams around us last night went largely in our favour, just a shame Coventry won, but with Florest, Donny, Peterboro and Portsmouth all losing, and the latter about to be docked 10 points, it wasn't too bad at all.

Pitman has to start at Peterboro or at least play a major part. I had forecast we'd lose every one of our remaining away games but this is one we could possibly get a result out of with the right tactics and attitude, and Pitters!

Peterboro are on a bad run and are dropping like a stone as I predicted they would. They were spanked by Portsmouth at home last time and lost at Cardiff last night and if we can fashion a win there on Saturday we'd be level on points with them.

On another note I thought McManus looked a good recruitment given that he signed 2 hrs prior to playing so he knows nothing about his new team mates. Think he will improve the defence when he trains with the team more.
