i really dont think he would, Dont get me wrong he is a good striker, but we say if he had the right service he would score loads of goals. that pretty much goes for every striker in the world, we need a striker who can create something out of nothing and theres no doubt in my mind del will find him

I'm sick of hearing how all our strikers need better service. good strikers make their own chances.

I look forward to getting a striker who can drag their sorry arse across the back 4 now and again..

Don't think Del likes him or the players.

Best for him to move on

seems a shame, when he arrived from bournemouth i thought he was a natural goalscorer, just never fullfilled his potential, just hope he dosnt come back to bite us in the arse.

I don't question his ability, it's just his attitude

Hmm i'd be gutted if Pitman left. Says it all about how boring we'll be if a striker's defensive capabilites are put before being the best finisher at the club. Scored 13 in his first season here and is definately a 20 goal a season striker if played every game. Strikers who can score goals out of nothing are few and far between and usually play for better clubs than ourselves, getting a midfield that can pass and create chances would lead to him and the others scoring a hell of a lot more goals. If he goes to Burnley I can see him scoring a load of goals and then we'll have comments about not trying etc when in reality our midfield especially creates piss poor chances.

At london road he was played out wide in what was meant it be 4-4-2 might as well have put sexstone out there for the sense that made. Thats how his season went. Will get ten plus a season anywhere upfront would get more in a decent team. He is a goalscorer nobody else at city gets the ball out of their feet as quick and can smash it with either foot.

What happened to Rodriguez going to West Ham ?

Pitman is lazy........expects the ball to his feet and generally looks a bit of a slob imo.

If Del is laying down decent discipline on and off the pitch, and I really hope he is, Pitman could be the first victim.

Pitman ..... expects the ball to his feet.

Left or right foot somewhere near the goal.

I trust Del to bring in the type of players he thinks we need.

If that doesn't include Pitman, c'est la vie..

Or Pitman may equally shake himself out of his walking slumber, put himself around a bit and make Del pick him because his form forces him to. (I'm sure Del would be more than happy with that.) as some have said he does possess the ability to notch..

Thats just not enough at this level.. (for ambitious teams anyway)

Pitman came on v Palace. City switched from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2. Pitman scores twice next game away at Peterborough City Pitman was on the wing. ****ing useless tactics. I fear this season we will see 4-5-1 again with a lump up top.

We wont be seeing 4-4-2 very often, thats a fact.

Not many higher quality sides play it anymore, its considered very old fashioned... I personally feel it has a place sometimes but with the right players, other variations will work far better these days.
