    Can't see it Wize.
There is no way Bournemouth could pay him what he's probably on at City, plus if Maynard goes we'll need him ourselves

Can't see it happening he would know if Maynard goes he will then become the main striker for us, so he will then get more games.
Plus like Angelic said could Bournemouth now pay him what he is on here?

By all accounts Bournemouth could afford him as they have received a cash injection from a Russian billionaire. One of my Everton supporting mates was bemoaning the fact that they had attracted a billionaire investor and Everton were still stuck with old Bill and no money!

I could see it happening as Brett is a quality player and seems to be an honest professional who is in the game for the love of it as opposed to money.

Must be hard for him on the bench but you can't change a successful formula unless you put Brett up top with Maynard and Adomah in behind? Would Nicky be effective in a wider, deeper position though? Probably not

Pitman has barely been here for a year, and he had a decent run in the team when he started out!

It's a worrying trend that we see with Bristol City all the time. Over the past couple of years we've gone through an insane number of players and selling Pitman would only make things worse. The guy has a bright future, and he's shown that he can score at this level already. Given that Maynard STILL hasn't signed a contract it'd be insane to get rid of Pitman unless McInnes really thinks he's not good enough and already has a name lined up.

The fact that McInnes plays Pits as first reserve regularly means he definitely does think he is good enough. Pitman is waiting to see what happens with Maynard. If he goes, then Pitman will assume the role, and if he stays we will have a fight to keep Brett and Steady happy.

As I see it, that is the present position.
