Anyone else think playing a youth game on it won't help? I'm sure it was a big incentive for the youth lads but is it compulsory to play this round at your own ground? Probably get a better atmosphere at a packed Ferriby than an empty KC anyway.
All games in the last 8 have to be played at the 1st teams Ground. They said pre season it was going to better this season ? Its as bad as ever?
It is pretty dreadful, but lets be honest: We've had 4 home games since the pitch started to look bad. We've won all 4. Derby 2-1 Charlton 1-0 Blackburn 2-0 Birmingham 5-2 It doesn't seem to be affecting the side too badly, does it? And it could be worse - just look at Blackpool's pitch, that looks like something from the 80s.
Maybe in the true spirit of Egypt we can have the pitch replaced with sand and all the players wear nothing on their feet.
far worse pitches than ours that don't have RL played on them - Blackpools both Sheffield Clubs are ****e even Charlton's looked a right state.. its been a long old winter that has been continually cold since the end of November - first bit of sun at the KC for some time - hopefully pitch will dry out now and the grass begin to grow again..
Though the pitch did look ****, it didn't seem to affect the way we played at all today, there was some neat passing going on.
why dont they spend some money on a lighting system like the big clubs have im sur it wouldnt be as much as proschwitz and far more effective. to be fair to SB the only **** up he has made player wise. makes you you wonder where we would be now if we started the season with the team we have now with out the injuries and if we had boothferry pitch back
You should probably offer Birmingham a replay then Jokes aside, well done for bouncing back from last week. Had you down to win, but didn't think it would be that convincing.
