So Reina wasn't the player of old, granted. But letting him go without a replacement when everyone with a set of eyes could see Mignolet was out of his depth is just scandalous. I don't give a crap if he courted Barca. It got personal and as a team, we've suffered for it.

While we're at it, a fit Agger would walk into this team right now.

It looks like Can and Sahko may suffer the same fate. All quite strong characters too. I think Brod may have to stick to coaching kids who don't have an opinion tbh because he can't seem to manage men very well by the look of it.

saving money was what it boiled down to sadly.

A fit Agger, even Kelly and Wisdom would walk into this team, and its also debatable if Ibe could be any worst, and Suso.

And Gerrard will likely be the last of that era on big money. After that, we'll have to learn that if we pay peanuts........

Getting rid of Reina and Agger was the right thing to do - big wages for little value.

The problem is not replacing them well. They were good players in decline however they also added leadership.

    This team has no leaders.
