Anyone seen the Eurosport polls where weekly (I think), they vote for the Premier League era all-time great in a position. This week, it's the left wing position up for selection and the nominee's list astonishingly excludes Gigg's only credible rival, Pires, in favour of the likes of Kewell and Joe Cole not to mention the strange nomination of a striker, Le Tissier. I just found out the mugs included Pires in the polls for the right wing spot which he hardly ever played in. I normally get irritated at people having a go at opinionated bloggers or online writers but that's just gross incompetence. Who on earth employs these people? Absolutely shocking!
The fact that they had Pires down as a right winger tells you everything you need to know about this poll.....
Didnt Le Tissier play the majority of his career as a second striker? Maybe i'm wrong but thats always the opinion I got when watching him play?
