Okay if you are obi you are grabbing a handful you fat ****. but anyone else keep randomly pausing to think that it’s unbelievable the team Eddie has crafted? We played poorly tonight and won with a clean sheet. we have players like Botman and Bruno who will only get better and fast… and we are led by England’s full back. The crazy thing is… we’ve just got started….
Even crazier is the fact that we are where we are having had Wilson, ASM and Isak unavailable for a large chunk of the season so far and we’ve had the likes of Murphy, Longstaff, Fraser and Wood on the pitch. It’s ridiculous the turn around it really is, and we’ve done it in completely the opposite fashion to how all the ****ing salty teared haters were predicting!
It wasn't the best, but we should still have got more than one, and keeping a clean sheet never looked in any doubt. Everton may have been a bit crap up front, but Botman and Schar completely dominated their forwards, whereas we looked dangerous every time we attacked. Bruno, Trippier and Botman have huge personalities and a massive effect on the rest of the team. We're rocking.
I feel dirty about what’s happening and what’s to come. Other fans are slowly realising as well. I’m ****ing ecstatic.
Eddie has built a system all around hard work and got the squad on the same page. It's allowing him to drop players in or out while still keeping on track.
Slowly edging closer and closer to dreamland and full on delusion now, beat spurs at the weekend and I'll be full on defcan 1
Imagine the irony. Qatars dirty money World Cup means our direct rivals have multiple players travelling, training and playing mid season whereas little old Newcastle have a few reserve players at best. The fatigue and injuries that will creep in to teams like Spurs, Liverpool, Man U, etc, whilst we just keep plugging away Leicester style…… If we can stay in touch before the WC and then get ASM, Isak and a few new heads in January, this could be a season somewhat ahead of schedule!
I see Roly has taken his happy beans today. But yeah, it's hard not get quietly excited anout the way things have gone so far. Just hoping we can maintain it.
Was thinking this this morning. But I would say 4 of our starting XI who will probably go, in Bruno, Trippier, Pope and Schar and maybe Botman but unlikely. Pope and Botman unlikely to play a huge amount if they go, Schar will do well to get out group G (Brazil, Switzerland, Cameroon and Serbia), Bruno most likely to make it far and Trippier atm looks like the only fit RB so potentially only 2 players getting a major run in the tournament. I think you look at what we have bought so far and it's obvious we will be after a CM and a Winger in January - Maddison and Diaby still being heavily linked but they would be the only positions that I'd be chasing in January. Some interesting potential free transfers in the summer out there with only 6 months on their contracts come Jan - Tielmans and Rashford being the two of note for me in the EPL who'd be ready to slot straight in while Lemar and Asensio from abroad would be good additions. Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Target, CM (Tielmans), Bruno, Joelinton, ASM, Isak, RW (Rashford) ... FML! Dubravka, Krafth, Lacselles, Burn, Lewis, Longstaff, Shelvey, Willock, Miggy, Wilson, Anderson ... as a 2nd XI )))))) Karius, Manquillo, Dummett, Fraser, Murphy, Wood reserves...
Okay, own up, who's nicked his password? There is no ****ing way the word's "I'm ecstatic" exist in Roly's world
That's what I thought too. Poor Roly has been abducted by aliens and replaced with a positive replicant.
