6/1 odds you won't get it tomorrow

The knives are out for pardew and the arse has fallen out of hull (can't defend for ****)

Bruce is famous for the rapid exit and Newcastle are long known to admire his ugly mush from afar....

When the sack comes I doubt even Ashley will stick it to the newkie lads by appointing pulis

David Moyes is more likely I feel.

I think Ashley still wants to hold on to that 8 year contract. He's made sacking Pardew potentially very expensive. Not that Pardew deserves compensation.

That's a shame... I quite like Newcastle... Northern team who aren't a direct rival... add to that Everton fans typically don't like them for some reason.

Shame for Newcastle to be cursed with potato head... especially since that means I have to want them to lose if they get potato-head.

Should've gone with head butt. That would breach all contracts... But I think the contract had some thing to reduce pay out

Yeah he could skinflint it and avoid compensation to hull via the ginger minger or thuggy pulls but I'm betting bruce

I used to like them. Now they just wind me up.

Bad manager, bad owner but with the potential to be very good if they actually applied logic.

I think Bruce has got more sense than to take it tbh.

He's got a fairly safe job at Hull at present, and with little budget and massive expectation from those boneheads up there, he'd be barking to swap seats imo.

yeah but its gone tits up..... they've not started well and bruce knows that half the managers get the sack by panicky f'rs in charge.

  8. That contract that includes a payoff equivalent to one years salary?

Roughly half of our starting XI are summer additions (much like yourselves), so as I'm sure you'll know, they need time to gel together & bed in. Individually, they've looked very good. Once Ben Arfa, Ramirez, Hernandez, Dawson, Diame, etc, etc, adjust we have an exciting looking squad. As for Assem, he is mad, but Bruce has great respect & power at the club and he'd have to right royally **** up for Assem to even entertain sacking him. We have had a poor start but we're only one point behind yourselves, and I doubt you'd entertain sacking Rodgers despite far superior summer spending.

No. We've switched from a 3-5-2 to a 4-4-2 and don't look as solid as a consequence, it's hardly unusual when a team changes it's style of play. To say it's gone 'royally tits up' when we're 16th after 6 games is rather stupid.

Our results have been poor since January, no disputing. But we signed well this summer and if we can keep it as tight as we did last year at the back, we offer a heck of a lot more going forward.

"He was reported to have said Pardew would be sacked if the Tyneside outfit lost to Potters, with his lawyers later claiming his quotes were only a joke."

    isnt that unprofessional?

i heard ages ago that pardew would only be due a year salary if he got sacked, is that too big a sacrifice for ashley then or is it worst than we was led to believe ie paid off remainder of contract etc.

think we all knew at the time an 8yr contract for pardew was silly though, what a mess.

He's already embarrassed himself enough giving an 8 year contract in the first place.

Maybe he gave him 8 years because he's to lazy to hire new managers.
