Not surprised, he didn't offer much, not even as a like for like replacement for Keds or Bayo. Looked out of his depth at this level and I'll be surprised if he gets back in the Charlton side.
Absolute no loss perhaps even an advantage to allow someone else to play. It might sound stupid but maybe recall German? He is still our player after all and maybe if he knuckles down and sorts his attitude out he might be worth a go? Wishful thinking perhaps! Hopefully Keds is close to fitness but until then maybe Birchall or Derry (what has happened to him by the way?) can fill the void.

Derry has been released, believe he's currently playing for Eastbourne Borough although there he did receive a mention in the Mirror (apparently due his father being an editor there!) I think Piggott's recall is good news and allows us to give game time to Birchall. Whenever he's been on the pitch for us (admittedly not enough) he has shown good touches and instinct, something I haven't seen in German since his initial loan spell with us.
Cheers for the update had no idea about Derry but to be honest I couldn't tell you where any of the kids are currently seems basically every player who played on the final day against Burton seem to have been released, retired or dropped! Weren't they meant to be the future!
Admittedly vinney, its a guess but you just get the impression that his attitude is a key factor in his lack of game time, I mean MA actually paid to get him into the club during the summer but then got nowhere near the first team and eventually ended up shipped out to Northampton on loan. Believe he may be a bit of a big time charlie who thinks he's better than he is although I must stress I have no evidence to support my theory but either he was a short sighted signing or when he got a contract he took his foot off the gas similar to Joe Kuffour. My only way of validating this is a distinctly remember MA commenting that he has to get his work rate up a few weeks into the season.
Good luck to young Joe Pigott I say. He would have been trying his best for us. He is obviously rated at Charlton, so the fact some of our fans think he's useless doesn't exactly mean he is. He seemed to get decent reviews in a couple of his early games with us as well. Anyway, do you think PT might get another loanee in before the window closes? Or do we just go with what we've got. Is Keds back any time soon?
