ECB managing director Paul Downton who took over from Hugh Morris on 1 February has decided to drop our best player.
    Brilliant.

Could have at least picked him for this upcoming T20 World Cup.

Thanks for everything Kevin, been a joy to watch you.

    What's your favourite KP memories?

Mine: 2005 being dropped by Warne of all people then blasting 158 sealing The Ashes series win.

All great players are selfish, and Kev was no different.

You cannot get to the top without being single minded.

Kev has been our outstanding batsman for a decade
and I wait with baited breath to here what really went
    on in the dressing room.

My memory of Kev will always be "the Skunk" hairstyle.
A great player to watch, but to play with, that's another thing

We must have some decent prospects coming through if we can simply discard a player of his brilliance at 33 years old.

Let's hope so because I've yet to see them.

No England batsman has scored more international runs than Kevin Pietersen. In 275 international games, he scored 13,779 runs, 589 more than Graham Gooch, who is next on the list. While Gooch's international career lasted 20 years (including three years in exile), Pietersen's lasted only ten, which shows the kind of impact he had on England cricket while he was around

I can't believe Mr Downton's comments this week - surely KP's people could now sue because he has broken the conditions of the confidentiality agreement?

By the way Mr Downton - didn't the side bat well yesterday without KP!!!

The ECB and its managing director, Paul Downton, have been forced to apologise to Kevin Pietersen for making comments in a radio interview last week about Pietersen's attitude during the Sydney Test that were "in breach of the settlement agreement" between the two parties drawn up after his sacking.
