Well, the middle order has been awful thus far, so having Morgan back will be a huge plus! But who will open? Trott? Bopara? Bell? Prior again? From the last game the 4 non-players where of the 15 where Shahzad, Collingwood, Tremlett and Tredwell. No openers there, so they're going to have to replace Pietersen with someone already in the top 6.
Well, those are the only 4 options, and for my vote it will have to be either Bell or Trott as Priot has been quite poor so far. The loss of Pietesen's off spin might be a problem too. By the way, Morgan makes a handy wicket keeper too.

Swann is a slogger, not sure he'd last long against some fired up quick bowlers! Although, there was that time in the test vs South Africa....
I think Swann for Bangladesh game would be perfect, as Swann is poor against the short ball but when it is spin or full bowling he is pretty good and Bangladesh have no-one with serious pace really to worries. If not put Prior there, and with Morgan at 5/6 with Bopara we have two players of actually finishing the game. Bell and Trott are doing well at 3/4 and so why move them and their games and strike rate are far more suited to the middle overs. Prior can go in with no pressure and just slog and hope really!
In the finals for last year FPT20 trophy I remember Swann opened for Notts, but didn't make a big score. I also remember Northants opening with Vaas! It's amazing what international experience does for a bowler and shows how much tail-enders batting has improved. Swann isn't good enough to open internationally though that's for sure. Trott has a stigma about him that he is slow scoring, which I think is unfair, he is a complete batsmen and I think he would make a great opener.
Prior is a good player of spin so might be able to open against Bangladesh but I don't think against other teams. Bell could do it too I suppose as he is a very good players of spin and not too shabby against seam either!
Edit: turns our Broad is a doubt for next game. Heaps the pressure on Anderson and Bresnan, yet another bowling option gone, but Shahzad is good enough.

I think Trott would be a sensible option. I reckon the Pieterson/Prior opening experiment was partly due to Strauss going through a bit of a lean patch. He seems to be over that now and has proved he can score quickly at the top of the order. Trott is an accumulating run machine at the moment and has shown he will stay there and keep the scoreboard ticking over if wickets are starting to fall at the other end. Also, he is, in my opinion, the one player in the England squad who is capable of batting out the entire 50 overs.
