    Steven Pienaar has said that he joined Tottenham because they reminded him of the Newcastle team in the 90's that he supported.

    Just thought I would tell you lol. Ya mite have already heard it lol

    He said: “Most young boys in my neighbourhood support them. A lot of them also follow Arsenal in the Premier League, some *support Man United, Liverpool or the odd one, like me, supported Newcastle."

    What other players do you know of that supported us?

    Obviously Michael Carrick and other Geordie boys did. Dimitar Berbatov has said that he supported us, I have also heard that Jack Rodwell and Darren Fletcher did. But, I am not 100% on them 2

    ummm grumpy tooth didnt he just say berbatov supprorted us ?
    Per Ciljan Skjelbred is apparently a toon fan... why we never go in for him i don't know !

    Other then the fact they won't win anything, I don't see that much similar between Flash 'Arry's Spuds and Keegan's Entertainers
