Taken from the post... please log in to view this image THESE are the faces of people believed to be responsible for crimes, violence and anti- social behaviour when Bristol Rovers and City clashed earlier this season. Avon and Somerset police want to speak to 24 outstanding suspects about incidents before, during and after City's 2-1 win in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Ashton Gate, which ended with a pitch invasion and violence outside. More than 20 arrests have been made as police have worked with both clubs, scrutinised CCTV, photographs and images sent to them of people involved in trouble. Det Supt Mark Saunders said: "We operate a zero tolerance of football-related violence or anti-social behaviour in Avon and Somerset and will not hesitate in taking action to bring offenders to justice. Fans arrested as a result of football-related incidents risk prosecution, a criminal record and even a possible jail sentence. Court convictions often lead to a football banning order, which will prevent people from following their favourite team for periods up to a maximum of ten years. It also places restrictions on travelling abroad when England are playing overseas. On top of this both Bristol City and Bristol Rovers have indicated they will consider levying a life-time ban on any supporters who are convicted of football-related anti-social behaviour or violence." Anyone who recognises someone in the pictures should call the police on 101. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/men-po...ers-violence/story-19920182-detail/story.html
Its been 5 weeks since that night and I cant believe that only 20 people have been arrested so far and that the police are only looking for 24 others!! Det Supt Mark Saunders said: "We operate a zero tolerance of football-related violence or anti-social behaviour" So can someone tell me how only 44 people in total have been selected by the police - if they operate a zero tolerance policy??? There were a lot of Rovers fans apparently involved with throwing coins at people and being violent. There were a lot of Rovers fans causing damage to seats in the away end. Rovers fans fighting after the game outside the stadium. ALL which is football-related violence or anti-social behaviour!! There were a lot of City fans apparently involved with throwing coins at people and being violent. City fans looking for trouble in the pub at the top of Winterstoke Rd throwing bottles and pint glasses at passing car/vans/mini buses which was carrying Rovers fans. City fan throwing a corner flag into the away end. Around 500 (figure reported by the press) City fans getting on the pitch and looking for a fight right in front of the away fans. City fans fighting after the game outside the stadium. ALL which is football-related violence or anti-social behaviour!! Im sure if Rovers were at home then there would be more Rovers fans causing trouble than City fans. So this aint a point scoring thread as I do recognise that BOTH sides were let down by a minority of their own fans, or so called fans. This thread is about how the police can only find 44 people out of well over 500 people who shown 'football related violence and/or anti-social behaviour'. How on earth can the police - who were operating a 'zero tolerence policy - only find 44 faces?? CRAZY! This policing is a joke. And it costed both clubs a lot of money. Hope they find all the people above (Rovers and City fans) and bring them all to justice BUT they havent done no where near enough to prevent it all from happening and no where near enough to stop it when it was happening. Your thoughts?
And no one likes you you boring scouse ****. CJS apologies but I had to post the picture on the ****heads board.
No I am not, silly. I posted it on your board because the majority of them are from the red persuasion, so it made sense for you lot to view Not a WUM, just doing my public duty.
