Don't mind a pickled gherkin (unless this is some sort of gay euphemism I'm not aware of).

Before turning veggie I used to get a dish at the German market which consisted of bacon, potato, pickled gherkins and mayonnaise. Lovely, it was!

A pickled gherkin??? I always thought a gherkin was a pickled cucumber? That is like saying you are going to have smoked kippers.

What are you having a go at me for? I didn't start the ****ing thread or make up the ****ing title. So, in summary, **** off.

<laugh><laugh> fair point. I didn't know how to quote the title of the thread without typing the thing out. In saying that, the time it has taken for me to type this out, it would have been quicker for me to just type the title out and had a go at trev instead.

I lap gherkins right up <ok>

My favourite thing in the world, though, are olives.

Anyone who dislikes olives MUST be bent as it's blatantly gay to dislike something that goes so well with lager.

Nope, because gherkins are always pickled, you could say pickled cucumbers but not pickled gherkins and the jar of "pickled gherkins" that ST put up are obviously marketed for ****s and *****s.

Aw I was eating hummus when I was in Kos. It was absolutely beautiful.

My fave hummus is either home made or the one in Lidl.

    Mmmmmmm
