The 21-year-old joined the Bantams on a season-long loan in July and had been an ever-present in the league for Phil Parkinson's side. He had been on a youth loan but, having turned 21 on Saturday, he would have needed to sign a new loan that would have meant the Black Cats were unable to recall him in the first 28 days. Pickford tweeted: "Loved my time at Bradford playing week in and week out."
I think he will be back up to Pants next season. I cannot see Vito hanging about and I can imagine a few clubs coming in for him. He's contract is probably up soon as well so will go for next to Nowt.
