Just came back from Majorca on holiday and i had my wallet stolen.
i knew exactly where it happened but didn't feel a thing.
We, the wife and myself, were stood in a crowd at a bus stop as they don't queue abroad and there was a squeeze to get on the bus, that's where it happened as i had just got my money out for the fare and put my wallet back in my pocket.
My pocket was in my combat style shorts low down on the side with a zip fastening, sneaky bastards they are.
Anyone else been done like that?

My mate was done in Ibiza on a drunken night out. Even then he could pinpoint exactly when it happened. Somebody purposely bumped into him despite there being very little crowd. About 10 minutes later he knew exactly why it happened. We was on our way to the lapdancing bar as well. I had to pay for him his dance and an exceptionally expensive drink. Grrrrrrrrr Great days!

Barcelona is terrible for it.... We've had a few incidents when I've worked there.
Bairns playing football is a regular one.. Kicking the ball to you and then they steam into you in an attempt to get the ball back off you. Before you know it, they have both the ball & your wallet!!!

My mother in law had her purse lifted from under neath her chair in a Marbella restaurant... they got away with a lipstick, a pack of cigs and a £30 phone that she used abroad but they threw the £6,000 purse in a bush 50 yards up the road.

On a lads holiday and after a rather drunken night out one of them gets approached by one of those lovely ladies who like to be paid to do naughty things to you.

Anyway, one who was drunk as a skunk asked for a blowy. Paid €15, dropped his shorts and you know...

Turns out that while his shorts were round his ankles she (might have been a he for all we know) took his wallet out of his pocket, emptied all his cash (couple hundred euros) and put it back.

    Expensive BJ.

In Prague there were warning notices posted on virtually every street lamp on Charles Bridge" Beware of pickpockets".
People must be so ignorant. I still managed to get 3 wallets and 4 purses.
Well they should be more careful.

There is a wooden post in Dover where if you were caught picking someone's pocket you had your ear nailed to this post, obviously in the olden days.
Only way out was for you to rip your ear off the post, canny deterrent and obviously you could then see who the pick pockets were as they either didn't have an ear or they covered them up.
Wonder if Relic or any of the old timers were about then?

In Milan, a group of kids surrounded me and started wafting papers towards my face. Natural reaction is to raise your arms to knock the papers away - giving the opportunity for one of them to get to your pocket. That day I had a big coat on and had for some reason put my wallet in an outside pocket (any other time it would be in back jeans pocket) Something clicked and I realised what was going on , luckily guessed which lad had the wallet and as I yelled at him, a local approached and had a go at them just as two police bikers arrived so the lad handed it back. Art this point a woman. babe in arms, appeared, speaking to the police on the kids behalf, pointing at them repeating ''bambinos'' Obviously saying to police you can't do anything , they're kids. Then everyone left.
Saw an attempt on a guy later that day, ran towards to help but he must have been local and had already sussed them.
