Hey still on the Brown theme, just had a quick ganders at their results and they are doing pretty well, only lost one game so far and up to 8th in table having scored 12 goals in only 6 games !!! They have also played 2 games less than most of the other teams too. My predictions would be they will be back in the CCC next season.
Is it my memory that's foggy or everyone else's? I thought Barmby got a goal ALLOWED, deflected past the keeper to put us 1-0 up early on. Then I think it was RVP equalising in totally non-controversial circumstances. The part where we got cheated out was when Gallas headed it in when he was about 5 yards offside late on to make it 2-1. Or am I a mile off?
Yeah i remember Barmby scoring.. then us getting a blatent penalty dissalowed before Arsenal scored an offside goal and tempers flared.. as they usually do when we play arsenal.
.... it was almost as though the referee had been told by the FA to make sure that Arsenal won the match.
I felt cheated in the f a cup game, we played well and deserved something , but nothing from that season was better than that saturday afternoon when we beat spit fabregas and his boys at the emirates
